Jetnikoff Wednesday Wonder-Cross shop ride:
A super chill, off-road, backyard adventure cruise ❄️😎🌴
Meet at @jetnikoff HQ (18 Eastment St, Northcote)
Wednesday mornings at
6:45am for a 7am start.
We'll plod along some beautiful, muddy trails for about an hour before making our way to Little Flock on High St, Northcote for delicious coffee ☕️ and second breakfast.
This is a slightly more challenging ride than our weekly Thursday morning road ride, taking on more technical off-road terrain.
But it's slightly shorter, and less challenging than our Saturday morning off-road ride.
We are about the people not the pace, and are always no-drop
so please feel encouraged to come along and have a go 💜
Ohiopyle is located in the mountains of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Known for white water rafting, the Allegheny Passage also passes through here, so it’s a great place for biking 🚵♀️. It’s also a great place to relax on the shore of the Youghiogheny River, explore nature, slide down the natural water slides, and so much more...and the town itself is a nice step back in time.
We love @Ohiopyle and the @LaurelHighlands, and try to visit the area several times each year, and we spent the past weekend here. We camped out two nights with our dog, took our campfire meals seriously with steak 🥩, corn on the cob 🌽, salad 🥗, zucchini, baked beans, s’mores, eggs 🍳, @BobEvansFarms sausage, watermelon 🍉, French Toast, coffee ☕️, and @WildTurkey 🥃. We went biking 🚴, walked around town, had ice cream 🍦, went in the Youghiogheny River, and sat on the shore. In short, it’s always a good weekend in Ohiopyle!

It was one long day on the #trails requiring nearly 7 hours to traverse less than 10 miles! I am no slow poke and it kicked my butt. Lots of #hiking , #scrambling , #climbing , bug bites (wasp sting on the calf. Youch!), and lots and lots of #dirt !
It turns out the Tinkham, Abiel, Silver Peak loop near Snoqualmie Pass is way harder than my father and I thought it would be. And nothing feels better than washing away the grime with that post-hike shower.
