Did you hear about that Singaporean photographer and "influencer" who deleted all his photos because they turned out to be photoshopped Shutterstock images?
Or all those wannabe influencers who just pitch hotel in the Maldives for a free 7-day stay, offering literally nothing in return.
But brands, at least big brands, are becoming smarter, and they don't just look at numbers. They focus on your account's engagement.
Every day, I see 10-20 or more "K" accounts with literally no comments or ones that are "nice pic", "epic gallery", etc.
That's a big no-no to them.
What about me and my tractor?
We are green, we love nature, and we are genuine.
And that provokes engagement.
