One thing I will definitely NOT miss when not living in #Toronto anymore are the dry hands like nothing I'd ever felt before moving to Ontario. ❄️ Holy CRAP! I'd never experienced anything like it. Now, this only happened when the weather would begin to drop and the air would become super dry. ⛄️ •
However, if you have dry skin year-round this could be a sign that you have a thyroid condition. Other symptoms of hypothyroidism include: fatigue, thinning hair, loss of the outer third of the eyebrows, constipation, increased sensitivity to cold, unexplained weight gain, hoarseness, elevated cholesterol, muscle aches and pains, depression and poor memory.
Or, having dry skin year-round may indicate you're low in the crucial hormone: estrogen. Ladies, don't underestimate the importance of estrogen! Including in your menopausal years. In fact, it's my belief that pretty much all menopausal women need to be supplementing with bio-identical estrogen in order to be healthy!
If your hormones ARE out of whack then the first place to look is to your gut. Yep - the gut helps to produce and excrete hormones so don't underestimate the imbalances you WILL face if your gut health isn't up to snuff.
Where should you start when it comes to your gut? By grabbing my FREE Healthy Gut Guide! Go grab it via the link in my profile and get yourself on a path for optimal gut health and hormone balance.
OH! And if your hands ARE dry from the winter weather in Toronto whilst I'm over in #Australia , (#sorrynotsorry ) then my suggestion is you grab some @beautycounter hand cream STAT. I LOVE this stuff, (it smells divine). Go check it out via the link in my profile, too.

Experiences like this you learn from, they make you stronger, they make you more confident! What the hell of a ride volunteering for EstDocs has been and we have 3 more days left! Meeting and having conversations with Estonian film directors, producers, restaurant owners, great chefs and all the other amazing people.
And I am proud to be “saarlane” (islander) from the island Saaremaa! It’s so funny how exotic being from there is to all the Estonians! It always adds some excitement to the conversation and everyone have interesting stories about “saarlased”. People abroad have no idea how how special that island is and how special the people from Saaremaa are. And I am not saying because I am from there. I am saying because I genuinely believe so and Estonia knows that, “saarlased” have the strength of the Vikings, literally!
To saarlased! ❤️
