I admit that there are some people who are skilled at working under pressure.
But, you'll also agree with me that those people will produce more results and would prefer not to work under pressure if they have an option.
Another thing is pleasing people, or, wait, trying to please people.
You know what it does most times? It makes you miss the core and you do for them what you can't do for yourself.
Yeah, you can't set out to please others and please yourself at the same time.
But the truth is, when you please yourself by doing the right things, others are pleased with you.
What's the right thing?
It's to win!

Celebrate them, and keep at it!
Don't be under pressure to record big wins. If people see no reason to celebrate your little victories, don't feel sad.

Today's meditation.... 💕
The focus was on how our brains are wired to reflect on the past or worry about the future. It is a trait learnt from our ancestors whose very survival depended on thinking ahead. Now, we don't have the same threats but still our mind seems to constantly jump from "what was" to "what if" and little time is devoted to "what is." 💕
How often as chronic pain warriors do we dwell on how we used to be before our condition took hold? How much of our thinking is focused on the future and what might be. Worrying ourselves in most cases unnecessarily. 💕
Stop right now, just stop for moment and check in with how you are in this moment. It is so refreshing to just stop and focus on the present. In this moment, all is well. In this moment, anything is possible. In this moment you are a survivor, you are strong and you are brave. In this moment you can be anything you want to be. 💕
Always remember that "today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday." @dailycalm #eckharttolle
