It’s been a busy week over here at WanderLove! 3 successful consultations yesterday with amazing future brides and grooms, lots of portrait shoots in stunning locations coming up, and also a big surprise happening on Sunday but you’ll have to wait and see what that is 😉 Let’s just say...we’re STOKED 😍
Last week I was in Canmore taking @gabemcclintock ‘s One Day Workshop.
Great to learn some tips and tricks and get some insights from someone of his caliber! Shot from the live shoot demo after the workshop
For the past 4 years, my family and I have made it a point to take on one long trip a year. I’ve spoken about this before, about me being tremendously proud of them for having the courage to step out of their comfort zone of guided tours (all their life), disregard their language barrier fears and embrace spontaneity since we embarked on the first one back then. It is taxing as hell, frustrating even, on my part to have to take care of every big and small matter pertaining to the trip and there are times when work gets really intense and the prep work takes a toll on me. But each time while we are there, it’s really nice being in the company of one another and away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and everything else. From being able to just hop out of the car and drop wherever we’d like unplanned, to singing aloud the Hokkien songs I grew up hearing them listen to and them trying to sing to some of the Thai songs I love while driving, to watching them marvel in amazement at the different pit stops and local accommodation we get to experience, to making a home out of wherever we go just because we are together. There is just something so liberating about road trips done with people I love that sets my soul free. Looking forward to fulfilling one of my biggest dreams of roadtripping U.S in a convertible.... someday. #SmittenpixelsXTasmania
this intimate Montana wedding hit the blog! it will forever be one of my favorite days because it was truly what Vera & John Reese wanted: it was western, intimate, and focused on their marriage. cheers to celebrating your life the way you feel is best 🖤 link in bio!
You guys are always on my mind. 💞I know leading up to a session, you’re thinking, “I’m so not prepared for this”, “I’m so not ready for this”, “I don’t know if I can really open up”... but quite frankly, I don’t even think I was ready for this kind of steam. 🔥
Getting SO fired up for all of my upcoming couple sessions. 📸
