Have run my first ever half marathon distance today - 21.1km! My body is in shock 😂 and I may have had to take an Uber home from Elwood beach 🙈, but perfect day for a run ☀️ and I’m feeling amazing! 🌈🏃♀️✨

Tried out some new stuff on my run this morning. Put #blistershield in my #injijisocks , wore #xbionicsocks on top and wore arm sleeves. Happy to say no big issues until the end when the #toesocks seems to be bothering my toes. I will be more careful when I put them on next time.
Did 8 miles slowly on towpath with full 20L @ospreyeurope #tempest20 . Then 25 minutes in the #sauna . Felt a little dizzy a few times. Plan is to eat lots of salt today. Do you have any tips on sauna training?
