Created with popsicle sticks. Shelter. It is in a store front canopy on a rainy day, in a blanket 's warmth and comfort, in a tree's support and shade.
Unpleasant circumstances? And shelter is saught. Physical shelters protect us from the elements, but what about mental and emotional shelter? The one that only Maharaj and Swami can provide. Seek it and be fearless for life!
Because... "Maya, does not cause misery to a person who thoroughly understands the glory of God and has an absolutely firm refuge of God (Loya 10)." #artbyaashi#vachanamrut#toddlerart

Just a boy and a spray bottle. Despite what Pinterest wants you to think, art doesn’t need to be complicated. This simple experience packs a ton of learn- hand strength, color exploration, color mixing, cause and effect, spatial awareness, language development and social and emotional skills. We used our favorite liquid watercolors from @discountschoolsupply
Paper Bag Pumpkin! 🎃 This is an oldie, but a goodie. I remember doing this craft when I was a kid! First, we crumpled newspaper, stuffed it in a paper bag, twisted the top shut and secured it with a rubber band. Then, we painted the outside orange. A green construction paper stem finished it off! It was great fine motor practice for S to crumple the newspaper. He loved painting (no surprise there 😉) and had fun painting himself along with his pumpkin. 😋
Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That's because they were able to connect experiences they've had and synthesize new things.
