Fact: Activities with toddlers do not need to be complex or fancy, and often they have the best ideas. At the moment E’s favorite book is This is Sadie by Sara O’Leary and illustrated by Julie Morstad. The illustrations are gorgeous and Sadie’s imaginative adventures fun for kids and adults alike. Our monthly diaper shipment came in today and, like Sadie, Ellie wanted to play inside a box. In the book Sadie pretends that her box is a boat but Ellie wanted her box to be a rocket ship! We got out a variety of art supplies (markers, crayons, dot markers, stickers, and gem stones) and E bedazzled her rocket ship for at least 25 minutes! #toddlercrafts#toddleractivity#toddlerplay#toddlerplayideas#threeyearsold#creativetoddlerplay
💌🎄 Christmas Cards 🎄💌
I thought I would share the Christmas cards Lottie and I made last year. These little Christmas tree cards are sooo cute 😍
I helped Lottie make some handprints with green paint and when dry I used glitter glue and a star sticker to decorate. All our friends and family who received one of these cards last year absolutely loved them! 💕
I know, I know, I know... but have you ever been stared at because you forgot your pants? No? Okay then.
Before everyone asks, technically I *was* wearing pants. They just happened to be my pj pants. That morning was one to go down in the history of mama hood 🤦🏼♀️
CABBAGE FLOWER PAINTING
Potong bonggol sawi sekitar 5cm. Lalu ibu menggambar beberapa tangkai bunga. Tugas anak adalah menambahkan bunga pada tangkai dengan cara mengecap menggunakan bonggol sawi.

Phases of the moon 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕
We tried our own version of @themakermum moon cycle board! Probably one of the easiest but coolest DIY’s we have ever done!
Here’s how we did it
Usinng a big mixing bowl I traced one large circle
Cut it out and set it aside
Then, using one of lilas small bowls I traced 8 circles.
After cutting them out I drew which parts I wanted shaded, and painted accordingly
Once the paint had died I stuck them on with a hot glue gun and named the moon phases next to them.
This activity is great for hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, memory recognition with our shapes (circle), and painting has been known to help children develop their decision making skills further.
Learning about the moon phases encourages mindfulness and teaches children to be knowledgeable about the world around them and the valuableness of all things and how they each play apart in who we are - such as the moon
Fun fact: did you know that the moon keeps the earth from wobbling violently as it spins? When the earth rotates it wobbles slightly back and forth on its axis.
Super easy Christmas toddler craft - contact paper and paper plate wreaths. This is a classic, but one of my favourites 😍
Cut out the centre of your paper plate and cover the space with contact paper / sticky back plastic (sticky side up) then let your toddler decorate by sticking or sprinkling bits on.
N is all about sprinkling the glitter, so hers was very sparkly. If you cover the surface with coloured tissue squares and hang up in the light you will get a stained glass effect (swipe for more pics)
I love contact paper crafts because it’s so easy for younger toddlers to do independently and it’s not that messy (we use these plastic Ikea trays to contain the activity though and they are a lifesaver with things like this)
