CIGAR EDUCATION - PUNCH CUT
PUNCH CUT - Or bullet cut is a small circular (tube-like) hole cut into the cap of the cigar. This particular cut allows the cap to stay in tact and lessons the likelihood of small pieces of tobacco getting into your mouth while enjoying the cigar. The tube like opening can sometimes contribute to enhancing the aromatics/flavor of the cigar as a smaller opening lends itself to a more compressed or denser draw. 👩🏾🏫
The punch cutter is pressed into the center of the cap of cigar and gently twisted a few times while applying light pressure to leave a small plug from the cap of the cigar. Box pressed cigars are best to use a punch cutter and/or mid-sized gauges.

This books release is timely and I'm grateful! I've been revamping some things here @theashtionary. Excavating the roots and why of this IG platform. From cultivating long-term opportunities, wholehearted content, and serving as a catalyst for connection to educating novice and vested cigar smokers about tobacco, cigars, and the "Culture, Industry, Community" (CIC). 📖
Women are dynamic! And this quote from the preface of "Becoming" is already a journal/content prompt for me . . . 💛

I M A G I N A T I O N 💫
Most people don't know this about me; however, when I became an avid reader, it wasn't with chapter books and novels, it was the Sunday comics that housed the weekly coupons to cut out and comic books that my dad owned as well as the comic books in my local public library. Why? Comics are filled with onomatopoeias (sound words). Basically words that I could easily pronounce. Finishing a comic book was a huge accomplishment for me. I treated them as novels and the Sunday Comics as novellas.
I've shared here before that I'm an avid reader, but a slow reader as well. I understand that my brain functions differently and that's the beauty of it. Loving the unorthodox nature that is me. When I was a child I knew how I was different (the smaller classes, the remedial academic subject matters, the creative surges) and as an adult I now know why. "It's good to know the how, but it's a blessing to know the why." - Dr. G
Stan Lee provided the young at heart, the young in age, the old in spirit, the old in wisdom . . . joy, vivid imagery and words of escape, infinite imagination, and hope.
We don't grow into creativity as adults, we grow out out it because we are all born creative. I'm emotional and elated about the life of @therealstanlee. Thank you for never growing out of creativity and living your life as vividly as the characters you've created that inspires us.
