Historic Downtown McKinney is throwing a party on Thursday . . . and you are invited! It is Fall Safari Night!
Join us for an evening shopping, sipping and enjoying the night away. Start at any of the participating stores and work your way around the square (and off the beaten path) to all 30+ shops. Each shop will be offering a free specialty beverage and a chance to win SWAG bags filled with goodies from participating shops.⠀
We are excited to include McKinney's own @tupps_brewery as our beverage of choice! Tupps will be at our place sampling a variety of their locally crafted beers.⠀
No purchase necessary. Shop & Sip to Win! See you Thursday night from 5 - 8pm.
The hill country never disappoints! 🌅 I spent the weekend with good people volunteering their time to help @citykidsadventures with their annual youth hunt. Big smiles and big time fun this weekend, hop on over to @citykidsadventures page to see more from the weekend ✌🏻

Let me take a moment to interrupt the usual posts about #summer2017 when I went on the #theultimateroadtrip where I packed up my truck and took my dog on a four month long road trip from Texas to Alaska and back.
Tonight, the setting sun and the clouds over central Texas decided to put on a show. I didn't realize the shape it was making until I looking at the picture on my computer. Had to edit it a bit to bring out the color but it was definitely a unexpected yet pleasant surprise. ⛅💛⛅ Has anyone had anything unexpected happen with whatever form of art you enjoy that you noticed after the fact?

“There are no days so delightful as those of a fine October.” -Alexander Smith
I took this picture last year at Magnolia Market. The Silos are always dressed perfectly for whatever season we are in. Although, I believe it is prettiest in October, because October is when we first met. October is when it first opened.
We are headed away from #silobration this year, headed south.
We are headed to a different celebration, one that I am both excited and proud of. (follow along in my stories!)
Have a happy, blessed October weekend—wherever you are, whatever you’re doing—make it a good memory. .
Lee County Courthouse in Giddings, Texas.
Designed by James Riely Gordon in Romanesque Revival style, the Lee County Courthouse was completed in 1899. The courthouse is three stories tall with a clock tower, with a face on each side of the building. Located on crest of divide separating the Colorado and Brazos River basins.

Stopped to search for food in this sleepy small town😴 Current options appear to be: OPEN gun shop (it’s 10 am), the sheriff’s office around the corner, a burger joint (it says hamburgers and says open so I guess that’s correct), or a sketchy door that says dentist? Oh, Texas. ❤️ #decisions#texas#smalltowntexas#dontneedagun#justataco#wherearetacos
