Four years ago today I bought a physical copy of @wizkhalifa’s third album “Blacc Hollywood” from Target while I went out for a walk. It features We Dem Boyz and the remix with Rick Ross & Nas. I need to catch up on Rolling Papers 2 #BlaccHollywood#WizKhalifa#TimeHop
I was asked, “how did you prepare for your first day as a PA?” a little while after this photo came up on my #Timehop 🌀 On the left, I was starting my 3rd rotation in a pediatric ER. And I was TERRIFIED. On the right, I was two and a half years into my first PA job in vascular surgery. So since many of you are finishing or have just finished your PA program and starting your job search, here are my best tips for preparing for a new job! 🔎GET SOME SLEEP- seriously. This is important. Yes, you’re probably going to feel anxious before you start this adventure. But go to bed early and get those Z’s so you wake up refreshed. 🔍GET THERE EARLY- I hope that I don’t have to remind anyone about this, but being prompt is so critical. Allow yourself extra time for parking, traffic, etc. Being prompt makes a great impression. 🔎 REVIEW A LITTLE- it doesn’t hurt to brush up on common medications or diseases. If you just took your PANCE, you might be horribly sick of studying. But it doesn’t hurt to read over a few things just to refresh. Also, don’t kill yourself with studying all over again! 🔎 EXPECT TO BE OVERWHELMED- no matter how well prepared you might feel, the first few months as a new PA can be very overwhelming. You’ll learn a LOT on the job. Allow yourself to be trained and molded into the expectations that are set. 🔍 ENJOY YOUR TIME OFF - Yep, be a little selfish! No doubt you’re about to start working a mentally and physically demanding job. You’re allowed to relax and rest and enjoy your time unemployed!
What did you do to prepare for your first day?
Florida’s best duo since 2015❤️
We did our best to copy the first picture we ever took together in Florida😛 I’d say we did pretty good! Same swim suits and everything, but we definitely have changed a bit😂
