Can someone tell me how I can live in this house please? 💚 It is so cool! What wasn’t cool? Wearing a black, long sleeved playsuit in 30 degree heat. 😅 However, this playsuit was a bargain, down from £50 to £25 in the Topshop sale.
I think we as a culture have grown to believe that convenience equals good. Equals happiness. We avoid anything that might be hard or inconvenient for fear that it will make us unhappy. Doing foster care brought my husband and I to a place where inconvenience became our normal. It was hard but so good for my selfish self. There are many good things about doing foster care, but nothing convenient that I can think of off hand. But I am finding that it is now a little easier to say yes to things that might be inconvenient or hard. I find myself a little more brave. Saying yes in the past has brought immeasurable blessing to our life. So, it seems that maybe it’s inconvenience that equals good. •
And if you read all of that and you’re thinking “what does that have to do with these pictures?” Nothing. Absolutely nothing but HEY look how cute she is in her little fake gucci T-shirt 😍
Can you believe that this entire outfit came from @goodwillsocal ?
I'm always in awe of what people donate. Most of the pieces I find are in like brand new condition some with tags still attached, proving that you don't have to go broke trying to dress the part.
Now that fall is finally here, I can't wait to bundle up in all the blazers + jackets I've been hoarding all summer. In the meantime, catch me in this super light cardigan which has become a staple in my wardrobe.
Here is today's #THRIFTDOWN
✨Work Edition ✨
Outfit cost: Less than 20 dollars
What are you excited to wear this fall?
ALL HAIL THE POWER OF RE-LISTING 💸
I’ve had these pants up in my closet for what felt like forever. I was using a pretty shitty photo, got no likes and kept price dropping it until it sat at $4 because I’d given up on it.
I re-photographed some stale inventory with my new flat lay set up and re-uploaded it as a new item with a new price point and BOOM, 3 days later it sold! I know $10 isn’t much but it’s a heck of a lot better than the $4 I could have received before 🤷🏼♀️
Mornings are beginning to feel a bit more like fall. 🍂And, I can't wait to spend October in layers, carving pumpkins, 🎃 and taking evening walks. Also, I love spending my days watching horror flicks. Anyone have any recommendations? (I'm not a big fan of slasher films though) Also, who's ready to watch Venom? 🙋🏽♀️
To celebrate #nationalopshopweek , i'm throwing it back to one of my most treasured thrifts.
This gorgeous dress was a @vinniesnsw find and set me back a whole $10
You never know what you might find 😊
