The rather unassuming little cast iron vent cover at wood green tube station featuring trees, deer and birds from when this station was once in a very green village on the edge of the Forest of Middlesex. Oh how this has changed since the 20’s!
Happy Monday Londoners! 🙌🏻 Have you already noticed that there is something new and majestic floating in Hyde Park’s lake? This morning we had the pleasure of being part of the unveiling of world-renowned @ChristoJeanneClaude’s first major outdoor and public temporary sculpture in the UK 🇬🇧 The London Mastaba - which consists of 7,506 horizontally stacked barrels - will float on the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park this summer, while a new @Serpentineuk Galleries exhibition supported by @BloombergDotOrg offers a look at more than 60 years of Christo and Jeanne Claude’s ambitious projects (see our stories for more!) 🎨 #ChristoLondon#TheRoyalParks#BloombergPhilantropies#SerpentineGalleries#ad#prettylittlelondon

I love these churches that you can find dotted around London and the detail that went into them. We had a really good day meeting my husband for coffee and lunch and pottering around the City in between. I’m trying to balance out doing things and resting and relaxing at the moment - there’s a new post up on the blog all about it (link in profile). I’d love to hear your thoughts on finding a balance.
