There is so much truth to this. I obtained this quote from a book I am reading right now—"Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success" authored by Steve Harvey. This book talks how God wants to use our gifts, talents, and callings to bless others and bring success into our lives. Sooo Good! #success
Imagine you where told you had 2 more failures to go, to reach "Success", won't you fail faster ? Im sure you would
There are 2 types of failures
1) Progressive Failure - This is the kind of failure, you pick yourself up from because you learnt a vital lesson or lessons from the experience that motivated you to try again
2) Entitlement Failure - This is a type of failure you choose not to learn from because you were so certain that this was the big break and you stay in it like a stubborn child in a "Toy Store" that refuses to leave, till the parent drags he or she out
Most people are scared to "Try" because they dont want to be laughed at if they fail. That state of "Mind" will slowly destroy you because it shows you live for the validation of others, not yourself
There's a difference between being Rich and Staying Rich. Your experiences in life would determine the outcome
Dont forget, "Success is not a destination, its a fertile land where your Seeds and Dreams begin to GROW"
May God, Allah, Tao, the Universe strengthen you on your part to whatever you want to be. Stay blessed and "Keep Going"
Let me introduce you to the biggest mind-f*ck ALL of us are subconsciously subjected to on a daily basis: the CONFIRMATION BIAS, or as I call it ‘the brain sift’🧠 It is the mother of all misconceptions, that is: the tendency to interpret new information so that it confirms/ supports your already existing opinions and convictions💡 In other words: we automatically tend to interpret things in a way that leaves our prior conclusions intact♻️ We do this to protect our belief-systems & to maintain sanity, as constantly adjusting our convictions takes too much brain power🙇🏻♂️ This means that we HARDLY EVER absorb all new information, because what contradicts our already accepted knowledge receives little to no cognitive attention...🔍 Please take into account tho that FACTS DO NOT CEASE TO EXIST JUST BECAUSE OUR BRAIN CHOOSES TO IGNORE THEM✅ Always question, always be open-minded, actively try to prove yourself WRONG, and please never be intellectually arrogant: “all I know, is that I know nothing” - Socrates
Finally a work day that made me appreciate work- a bus ride around Adelaide sight seeing with the residents- it is yet now I am back off the bus and at work- I am finding it hard to not feel stressed and sleepy... this sun spot I found outside is beautiful and the tea is nice. I don’t like counting down the hours, I wish I could appreciate being employed and be more thankful... but I seriously don’t have anything to complain about- not that complaining gets you anywhere :) #think positive 🤙
