ESSENTIAL OILS - thanks for the great highlight @marieclaireuk ! .
How do you use yours? So many oils....so many uses? Have you never used essential oils but would love to start? 🌿
Tonight, I used a old favourite Eucalyptus (radiata from the leaves) in a steaming bowl of water with a towel to clear those sinus issues. Add water to bowl, 3 drops of oil, cover head with towel & breathe deeply.......🌿#feelbetteralready
To celebrate Joseph Pilates’ birthday week, I am joining the party 🎉 hosted by @kiraslamb and accepting the #contrologyfreakchallenge 🙌 For those of you that aren’t Contrology Freaks 😂 you may not know that the name “Contrology” (or the art of Control) was Joseph Pilates’ preferred name for the exercise system that he created. No matter what you call it I do attribute it to healing and changing not just my body but my life. I think Joe would be pretty thrilled to know how many lives he has changed with his exercise system👏
Today’s challenge is #therollup which is one of my favorite exercises. In the classical mat the roll up is done right after your warm up (the 💯). It strengthens your core, articulates your spine, stretches the entire back of your body and it feels good! Here I do a few rollups and a few rollovers (same shape in space but initiated from the lower part of your body) using the Wunda straps. If you have stuck with me throughout this ridiculously long post you may also be a #contrologyfreak and should head over to Kira’s page for all the deets to join the challenge. Thanks to @kiraslamb and all the sponsors for creating this fun challenge with some pretty cool prizes 🎊 #workthesystem#therollover
If I had to take 5,683 pills per day, I couldn’t do it.
If I had to spend $200-$300 every month, I wouldn’t do it.
If I didn’t feel a difference, I would’ve already shut up about it. 🤐
I need SIMPLE. I’m busy. I’m a mom of 6. I dont have time to be taking pills every few hours or to be carrying around a pills case with me everywhere I go. My “purse” is a diaper bag and it’s filled with mom stuff anyways. 💁🏼♀️😆 A few pills in the morning with one drink during the day and a few pills before bed, you say?! Now THAT I can fit into my routine. Wash my face morning and night and apply 1 serum, you say?! I can fit that in no problem!
I need AFFORDABLE and I choose EASY. I’m A PRACTICAL, no-nonsense person who only has time for what works. 🙃🤣 $3-$5/day, you say?! Ok...I can swing that! We’ve all spent DOUBLE that on things we were addicted to before or that we didn’t need. 😜
I need EFFECTIVE. I’m a human. 😆💁🏼♀️👋🏼 Ain’t nobody got time to waste on products that don’t truly work. I want to feel better. I need energy all day without stimulants. I need to see progress...and I have! 🙌🏼❤️ Raise your hand if you relate! 🙋🏼♀️ #cleanbeauty#cleanproducts#glowingskincare#guthealthmatters#simplesolutions#healthsolutions#40isthenew30#raisingthebar#therealdeal
I often am disappointed with the restaurants in the region that aim for la Gastronomie, or a more refined level of French cooking because I feel that what arrives is a plate full of ideas and little for the palate or the senses. Not true at Le Lieu. Julien Koscielny's cooking hit all the right notes...including leaving me feeling...happy.
This boudin noir or black pudding with salsify, pear, nuts and café oil is a perfect example.
Michael Moorer pulled off a minor upset when he surprised the hell out of Holyfield and hospitalizing him in the process. A jaded and beaten Holyfield suffered post fight dehydration aswell as rotator-cuff damage. Kidney bruising was also discovered and he underwent a procedure where he was given a large amounts of fluid but according to physicians his lungs filled because his heart wasn't properly pumping the fluids out as it should have - this led to Doctors diagnosing a 'noncompliant left ventricle' and on initial advice Holyfield announced his retirement from Boxing, only for the religious Holyfield to claim a couple of months later that 'he had been cured' by evangelist Benny Hinn. Holyfield went to the Mayo Clinic who apparently gave him a clean bill of health and the all clear to fight again, insisting the heart condition only appeared because he was over-medicated and over-hydrated during the treatment he received after the Moorer fight. Years later, eyebrows were raised when it came to light Dr. Margaret Goodman, a former chairman of the medical advisory board of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, said Holyfield was questioned at the time about possible HGH use. "There were questions because the abnormalities Evander had with his heart were findings that could have been consistent with growth hormone use," she said. "The problem was there was no test and Evander denied any use of growth hormone." Suspicions aside, Holyfield on this night, looked a shadow of even the one who'd beaten Bowe 5 months previous. The talk now, was of a possible match between Michael Moorer and Lennox Lewis, to unify the title.
