HAPPY MONDAY 🤗 Less than 1 week away before I race IRONMAN CANADA 🇨🇦 it’s time to slowly start unwinding the training down. Tapers are always tough for me as I have the tendency to alway want to train 24/7 🙈 this is just who I am. It’s times like these where I work on finding BALANCE in the sport of triathlon which can be extremely difficult. What are ways you find balance in life in whatever it is you are pursuing?
Through evolution our minds are unfortunately predisposed to focus on what's wrong, what could hurt us etc.
But if we take the time to focus on what's good and if we take control of our actions rather than blaming or making excuses, then we can manifest happiness within our life's.
Memories help us to maintain a sense of continuity in life, but they can also hold us captive as we used them to build walls around us, imprisoning our mind and seeing life only through a small tinted window
The result is, we no longer experience reality as it is. Instead, we perceive reality through memories from the past and worries about the future, creating a distorted version of reality.
My reality is just a subset of the real thing. So is yours.
Humans are so powerful and amazing and I see them running around (myself included) being brainwashed to be a certain way, being thrown a bone here and there for a false sense of fulfillment, to create a populace of compliance and where the true essence of life has been squashed down so deeply that it barely can shine through. We shouldn't live in a world where true mental freedom is so scarce and those that are deeply in touch with life are praised because they are so far and few in between.
It's imperative that you wake the hell up so you can help the rest of the world do the same.
The process of inclusion works hand and hand with that of acceptance. Once I realized how important it was for me to encourage both aspects things begin to operate a bit smoother.
Remember, one without the other gives off a feeling of 'tolorated obligation'. But when they are both implemented they encourage belonging.
YOUR HEART WILL FIX ITSELF. IT'S YOUR MIND YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT. Your mind where you locked the memories, your mind where you have kept pieces of the ones that hurt you, that still cut through you like shards of glass.

when it comes to the words we choose, the thoughts we entertain, the people we entertain, we are building aforesaid house for our dear friend...ourselves. treat yourself as if you would treat a really good friend(damn we treat our friends like shit these days but...for the sake of this analogy bare with me🤣)—-

THE MIND!!! A man's life is what his thoughts made it. You become what you allow yourself to think. There is something called THE LAW OF ATTRACTION. When you think positive such as abundance, good health they attract themselves to you likewise when you think sickness and poverty it attracts itself to you. Therefore the source of all power and strength can be traced to the mind. The greatest stronghold is the mind. When you pull it down other things will be clear before you. Your thought life is an energy by which the law of attraction is brought into play. As Christians no matter the circumstances we should THINK HOLY, GOOD AND POSITIVE THOUGHTS because the Bible says "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". There are so many destiny destroying thoughts that can ruin a man namely: Evil hammer thoughts(that can pound your heart), Rat thoughts(that ceaselessly bite the heart), Evil needle thoughts(that prick and scratch the heart), Vagabond thoughts(that wanders everywhere and lack focus), Shadow thoughts(that dim the light of a new day), and Serpent thoughts(that poison destinies). All these evil thoughts when left unchecked causes MADNESS OF THE HEART. The day you receive the deliverance of the mind, you receive a great deliverance. YOUR THOUGHTS CAN EITHER PROMOTE OR DESTROY YOUR DESTINY.
