We're already in #Hour4 of the #Readathon ! The #deweyoct#ReadathonHourlyPhoto challenge for this hour is to share a #classic . I didn't have to think very hard to figure out what to share, as I don't think I own more than two "classic" authors' works. 🤔😄😍❤ . . . .
So here is one of my classic authors! J.R.R. Tolkien! (I wonder if he's appalled at having been described as a "classic author"? 🤔🤣) I have this wonderful set of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and it even looks classic! 😄😍❤ . . . .
I haven't yet read these editions, but I have read the stories in them. In these editions, the text is awfully small, so I haven't yet decided if, when I finally get around to rereading this series, I'll read this set or not. 🤔🤔🤔 . . . .
But in the meantime, I'm sure glad I own this set! 😄😍❤😍 . . . .
"The Shire" 🇬🇧When I first decided that I wanted to go to New Zealand, I did it just because of the landscapes that I had seen in "The Lord of The Rings". It seemed to be a place full of magic: snowy mountains, lakes, green hills, The Shire... Many years after that, my dream finally became true and I visited that amazing country and, course, the Hobbiton.
Tell me, What is that place that you have always dreamed to visit? Have you been there already? ¿Ya has estado allí?

I’ll never forget the night my dad came to me with a Lord of The Rings book in his hand. He was so serious when he started to talk to me that I first thought I was in trouble. Lol He began to tell me he had grown up reading these amazing books and they were now going to be turned into movies. He wanted to read the books with me before the movies came out. Every night before bed he would read to me. We finished the book and went to the movie. I was thrilled to see it and it was even more fun because it was something my dad and I shared together. So it was only fitting that my dad and I experience Hobbiton together. It was so magical and beyond my expectations. Definitely one of my favorite life experiences! :) #hobbitontours#hobbitonvillage#yeshobbiton
Tolkien)
