You know it’s cold when even your husband who LOVES the cold is cold.
Also, this is my man. He’s wonderful and I’m so lucky to have him as my husband. Here is your rare chance of seeing him cause he doesn’t like the camera! 😘

“I’ve had a craving for waterfalls this week!” Such a wonderful feeling to finish a hike with the view and experience of an amazing waterfall. There are SO many great waterfalls to explore. What are some of your favorites?
Vid cut me off hahah see the rest on fb lol Dayyyy #1 of the Nootka Trail! Ahhhhh! So yesterday I got to meet @kierenbritton of @theladyalliance and her beautiful friend @courtney0fthewater and omg I found my soul sisters! We spend the day exploring Victoria and chatting about life! I also forgot a sweater so we went to MEC and got what I needed! Today I head to the island by float plane and hike the trail with four women who I haven’t met yet! Ladies: I am not fully physically fit but don’t let that stop you! These women embrace one another and the point of this is to be a community and love one another as Kieren explained to me last evening. Take a chance it’s soooo worth it! #theladyalliance#pushinglimits#lovingcommunity#takeachance#nootkaislandtrail#personalgrowthjourney#selflove#hikingadventures#womenwhopusheachother
What was the most beautiful buddha you ever saw? "Never stand with your back turned towards Buddha,' said our guide. The only thing I could think was: "why would I?" I mean, look at the beauty, the peacefulness the details of this amazing meditating Buddha.
Seneca Lake was stunning. I'm bummed we didn't quite make it to out to Island Lake, but 18 miles in a day was certainly enough for me 😂. I'm excited to go back to The Winds this weekend and explore some more! 📷: @emilygreeeson
Loving the joy shining on @the.tigers.wife’s little's face! Sharing the stoke of the outdoors with the next generation is incredible! ————————————————————————

Happy trails! 💕
Greece was a lifelong dream come true. I always imagined being there but never thought I’d actually make it happen. Islands are just a ferry ride away from each other, with each place having its own kind of magic. To this day, it remains one of my very favorite places 💕
My first adventure with @theladyalliance !! Tomorrow I leave for Victoria, British Columbia. Then Saturday I fly out to Nootka Island to hike for the week! No running water.. straight up outdoors living! Just me and my 60L Osprey and a group of fabulous women that I haven’t even met yet! Now is the time! Whatever you have been wanting to do... the next adventure... travel... DO IT! We only get one short life so do all of the things! #personalgrowthjourney#nootkaislandtrail#theladyalliance#motivation#hikingadventures#freefromfear#startliving
Real Talk: I almost didn’t post this photo cause I kind of hate the way my legs look. But look at that lake, I had to! And you know what, there may be more flattering angles of my legs, but this is also real. These legs carry me up mountains, down trails, and to the most incredible views. I work long field days in fast moving rivers, muddy swamps, and deep snow. Appreciating what my body can do versus focusing simply on what it looks like has brought me a lot of peace. Our bodies are meant for function not just aesthetics. There’s still a lot I could and want to change, but I have so much appreciation for the legs and lungs and heart that get me to places like this. Ultimately, that is more important. I used to let my appearance stop me from climbing and hiking and living, I’m so glad I stopped that nonsense a long time ago. Life is better when you do the damn thing anyway. ❤️ 💪🏼
Each sunset symbolizes another day that has passed and all the things you’ve achieved throughout that day. As the sun goes down, the darkness of night provides a wild contrast, allowing for peace and rest after each day that goes by. Some hike for sunsets, some drink cocktails, and some just sit and admire. What kind of sunset watcher are you?
I been to the Athabasca glacier a few times over the years, but getting to see how massive it is from Wilcox pass was a special treat. The gigantic tour buses look like little ants making their way up the glacier.
Sometimes all it takes is the ability to face your fear and say yes to a new adventure: "I started rock climbing last September... Now I’m multi-pitch climbing the face of Ha Ling and watching the sunset on top 🌄 Pretty stoked to see my progression this summer 🤙🏼"

Nearpoint mountain in February.
At that moment
There was peace
There was only me
Thoughts were quiet
Dreams were colorful yet bleak
At that moment
There was beauty
There was only me
Songs were silent
Words were powerful yet unable to speak
Self-Love is not a destination.
It's not a place you reach one day and just hang out.
It's not a light switch you can just turn on and leave on.
It's a grind.
It will ALWAYS be a grind.
Especially if it doesn't come naturally for you.
If you're working through overcoming negative thoughts,
negative influences... Self-love is difficult.
But the more you forgive yourself,
the easier it becomes.
There will always be reasons to doubt your radness.
Because even when it's tough, self-love is way more fun!

The wind on this mountain was so strong that it literally lifted my husband and I off our feet and threw us about 7 feet...multiple times. Never have I experienced wind that wild, but despite the struggle we made the summit of Wolverine Peak yesterday!
10/10 do not advise doing this mountain on a windy day.
Swimming in the cenotes of mexico...the cenotes are underground, fresh water pools formed by the complete or partial collapse of cave roofs in Yucatan, Mexico. Many tap into larger cave and river systems that go on for miles, some not yet fully mapped. It’s a special experience to swim in these natural wells, surrounded by this limestone rock, the water is so clear…
