By age 14, girls drop out of sports at twice the rate of boys. 7 in 10 girls don’t think they’re good enough. @gozgirls exists to combat these statistics!!! ————————————————————>
This is a picture of me at about eleven years old. I remember the uncertainty at the cusp of adolescence. Lucky for me, I had family, friends, and a sport I loved to get me through the tumult, but it was still tough... A girls’ confidence plummets during puberty. This is something that breaks my heart and needs to change. Please consider linking up with @gozgirls. Think of a girl you know, maybe a really dorky jock with her nose deeply wedged into a book, 😉 and think how much she could benefit from an extra dose of confidence. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy: confidence builds confidence, from courage grows more courage. And the best part? It’s contagious 💜💪
There is a proven way to help girls build confidence: give her a positive and life-changing mentor who teaches her confidence-building mental skills. This is exactly what @gozgirls does, while simultaneously building her a support group of peers that are going through the same experiences. As we enter this week of Thanksgiving, consider donating some of your time or money by November 27th to this amazing organization by clicking on the link in my bio or here: https://www.crowdrise.com/sample-fundraiser3
As the weekend comes to a close- Present me needed this tonight. Past me is super proud of her future self. Future self is going to be super great, too. Present me is kind of feeling like she’s in a rut. But then I remembered that I’m a badass and have come a long way and that I’ve done great things and I am currently doing amazing things... and will continue to do them. #BossBabe#LadyBoss#GirlBoss#TheFutureIsFemale#BeKindToYourself#IAmFire#ImGoingToDoGreatThings
Two weeks ago, I signed a contract to become the newest U30 contributor for @forbes and @womenatforbes covering women in underrepresented industries.
I am inspired by each and every woman who has taken a chance and pursued a career in an uncommon field or entered an industry that is heavily male dominated. These women have paved the way for myself and so many others and I am honored to document their journeys for generations to come.
Be sure to subscribe to my website to be notified when my first article drops! #ForbesU30#WomenAtForbes#TheFutureIsFemale 📸: @kate_pervova
At only 38 years old, Caroline Frey is fast becoming one of the top winemakers in France, admired for her persistence for quality which begins in the vineyard. Under her leadership the Paul Jaboulet Ainé vineyards were certified for Sustainable Farming and she now follows organic and biodynamic practices.
Caroline and her family took over Paul Jaboulet Ainé in 2006 and she has continued to produce the high quality wines for which they are famous, as well as stamping her own mark on them.
Frey grew up in the Montagne de Reims in the Champagne region of France. Her father Jean Jacques, a property investor, had a strong passion for wine and bought some vineyards there when she was just a child, so she grew up in tune to the rhythm of the vines and a taste of the industry. He later invested in some of the Champagne houses and in 2000 he purchased Chateau La Lagune, a third growth in Haut Medoc, Bordeaux. Caroline had always loved horses and had been an equestrian champion, however, she felt her destiny was to be in the wine industry so enrolled at Bordeaux University. There she studied and was fortunate enough to have Bordeaux legend Denis Dubourdieu as one of her professors. She undertook her internship at Ch. Reynon and graduated top of her class. In 2004 she ran her first vintage at La Lagune.
When the family acquired Paul Jaboulet Ainé in 2006 she took up the role of winemaker and viticulturist with a passion unmatched.
Don’t hesitate to put a bottle of one her masterpieces at the center of the table this Thanksgiving!

I was a feminist before I knew the word for it. I remember writing a paper in 6th grade arguing that publications like Playboy served to reinforce the idea that women could only have value if they fit into a narrow definition of beauty. I don’t think my teacher knew exactly how to respond. We’ve made a lot of progress, but there is so much more work to do, and I will not stop fighting until full equality is achieved for ALL. 📸 Me in 6th grade with the best role model a guy could ask for: my mom. Ignore my awful hair and nerdy glasses. 🤓
When I think about my life and business, sometimes I get overwhelmed. But then when I reframe things from the perspective of giving, I feel myself settle down. Because that reframing suddenly gives me the time and room and grace to make generosity a priority. The dogs get longer belly rubs. I bring James coffee in bed. I spend more time with friends. And I make time to journal, meditate, and do yoga so that I can have the space to give more to my business, my clients, my family, my friends, and the world. It’s sometimes hard to remember that in being generous, you must also be giving to yourself so that you can share your gifts with the world. If no one has thanked you lately for all you do, know that you are appreciated and loved. The world needs what you have to give it.
This is basically what majority of the girls I coach did this weekend....studied! It’s finals week which can always be hard and nerve wrecking, but please remember that you are so much more than a grade on a test. Focus, take deep breaths, do your best and give it your all. And whatever grade you get doesn’t define you- it’s just a part of your overall academic journey. So please, be easy on yourself this week! I believe in you-all of you! 💛
had the absolute pleasure of spending some time today with an amazing set of women to shower baby Harper Wren. here’s to raising strong women with an even stronger village behind them. #pinkiesup#harperwren#thefutureisfemale
Would you believe me if I told you that sometimes (and honestly, most of the time) the magic & success in business lies in the slowing down rather than the exhausted hustle, grit, & the grind?
Well, it’s true.
At least, I’ve made that a rule in my business
And it’s available to you, IF you want it.
Let me show you what I mean...
This weekend, I spent more time relaxing than I did working.
I sipped coffee while I FaceTimed my husband, I got a deep tissue massage, I hung out with one of my girlfriends & enjoyed whiskey before shopping for Christmas decorations, a healthy dose of Netflix, and tonight I set up my Christmas tree while I watched a Christmas movie. 😍🎄✨
I also had a couple client calls, cleaned the house, and set myself up for the week.
I feel light, refreshed, and ready to kill it this week before the holiday on Thursday!
AND I had PayPal payments come through yesterday & today...
While slowing down.
While hanging out.
While enjoying my LIFE.
While doing work that lights me up.
THIS is why I’m so passionate about teaching what I’ll be sharing with you inside my 3-week intensive. Because you deserve a LIFE that you love. Your business is a huuuuuge piece of you & your life, and I love that. I honor that in you. But it doesn’t have to be your WHOLE life.
I have found I actually serve my clients better when I’m filled to the brim, when I take care of ME, when I live my life, and when I have a healthy “balance” of hustle & flow.
It takes practice, it takes exploring what that looks like for you, and it takes you DECIDING that if it can work for me - it can work for you too.
I know it’s out of the norm. But I’m forever grateful for my mentors showing me what was possible... and now I want to show you too. 🖤
We start our 3 weeks together inside my small group intensive on Monday 11/26... one week from tomorrow! Message me for the details! You’re not gonna want to miss this — it’ll be the last time I run it with direct access to me as your coach AKA having me in your back pocket as you discover what this means for you. 💁🏼♀️ I can’t wait to celebrate on the other side! 🥂✨
Tonight #ontheblog I broke down my Sunday night beauty routine with @keywestaloe 💚 I loved their products especially after my skin was dry and sun-burned after my trip to El Salvador ☀️ you know the drill 👉 link in bio 🌟

Mentor | Sponsor - A Mentor is a trusted adviser, someone you seek for guidance; a Sponsor is a person in an influential role that will champion your successes and open doors for you. Every woman should have both. And most importantly, pay it forward in due time.💫🍃 #LeanInAfrica
“Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey.” —Michael Josephson .
We are playing CATCH-UP around here with all the rain we had last week, but so grateful for The most beautiful fall day to spend with @allie.mc at the farm. We even got to play with baby 🐐 (goats)!
We are beyond stoked for the release of our second single #TwoFaced . It's a little more stripped down, it's a little more raw, and it really gives you a sense of how we can give you all the feels while simaltaneously smacking you in the face with booty poppin' grooves. I (Taylor) wrote this song while struggling to find my place as an artist in Seattle. She treated me dirty for a few years, knocked me on my ass, but eventually rewarded me with my lifelong friends and incredible bandmates. I truly believe that this band and the music we're making will inspire and shake up the pop music scene and hope you do too! If you're in California next Sunday, November 25th, 7pm, please come dance with us at the @holbrookehotel where we will be exclusively premiering Two Faced.
