Halloween adventure #2 last night! We went to the Terror Train and had an amazing time, as usual. As fellow haunters, we really appreciate the effort they put into their concepts, sets, and performance. #SinisterSisters#HalloweenAdventures#TerrorTrain
I just watched Terror Train for this first time. Probably an unpopular opinion: I thought it was better than Halloween. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy Michael Myers, loomis, and Laurie but this concept is more interesting. Who doesn’t love a magician 🎩 horror story. Jamie Lee’s acting was much better in this too. I guess I’m just confused on why more people don’t talk about #terrortrain
What are your thoughts?
”The boys and girls of Sigma Phi...some will live, some will die.” 💀🚇 Today we're celebrating TERROR TRAIN, the 1980 installment into the barrage of slasher flicks that followed “Halloween.” A lot of people throw this movie into the #sobaditsgood genre but I'm ready to go to bat for it. I love this movie. Once you move past the over the top opening, “Terror Train” course-corrects into woodsy, foggy atmospheric shots, one of the wackiest looking villains, and two important life lessons: 1) Bullying is wrong, and 2) Magic shows are raddddd. (Oh, hi, David Copperfield?) Yes, Jamie Lee Curtis brings a great performance and some amazing lung-power to this claustrophobic, whodunnit, stress-fest, but it's legendary character actor Ben Johnson (as the conductor) who is a constant scene stealer and keeps this movie re-watchable. It's not full of blood and guts. It's not Halloween. But it IS a fun and spooky ride we both suggest you see at least once if you haven't already. Guys, we want to go to this party. We want to throw this party...and have you all attend, naturally. Does anyone have a lead on a magician? Let's call Amtrak and book it. Don't waste money on a return fare. You won't be coming back! 💀
Terror Train (1980). Directed by Roger Spottiswoode. Starring Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis. This was one of those movies that showed on KTLA on Sunday evenings if you lived in SoCal. Though not very popular, it gives Jamie Lee Curtis another notch on her belt of the title Scream Queen. #jamieleecurtis#terrortrain#screamqueen

Then we watch and discuss Terror Train starring some lady named Jamie Lee Curtis and a guy named Dave Copperfield. Never heard of either of them but I’m sure they’re an attractive pair.
