Wednesday nights I have started running with a group from one of our local running stores. It’s great! Variety of ages and speeds! ⭐️
Tonight was another track workout. 4sets each run 100, walk 100....200, 300, 400. Ends up being about 5 miles. ⭐️
Last time it kicked my butt. Tonight I was sore when we were done. But by the time I took a shower I felt better.
It amazes me how fast the body adapts to physical stress. How fast we recover. Yes, I had a few things helping me (O2 gold, arginine) but supplied the mental drive. ⭐️
Really thankful there was others there to push me. ⭐️
Tonight before leaving for the mid-distance running group I was worrying about my knee. It was oddly sore all the sudden and felt funny.
I swear, every single time I have been close to or about to make a break through in my fitness or training regimen my knee has given out or I have done something bad to it. (Last time I hyper-extended it and it took a month to heal) So I was worried. And then I read this.
Fear. Fear is just evil’s way to try and stop you. Nothing is going to stop this momma from running this half! People said I couldn’t do it, but I will.
Thankful I went to run. A solid 6 and it felt good. Sweaty but good. Great conversation and wonderful weather!
