Quad day was awesome today, featuring my favorite leg exercise: reverse banded hack squats. The band takes around 70-80lbs off the bottom which helps take tension off the knees and allows you to go heavier and overload the top (engages more quads). Last set towards the end of the workout shown here 6 plates a side for 15 reps. I almost always throw up on leg day but today I didn't because I took some rolaids (antiacid tabs) before the workout and it believe me it was a real game changer not having to fight to keep my lunch! Give it a try if u have trouble keeping food down. Thanks @gary_knauer for the tip!

Just had to take a second to say how GRATEFUL I am for this badass babe!
Shazzel is my sister-in-law (crazy woman married my brother Elliott!) and I’m happy to say she’s my friend and TEAMMATE!
Shazzel joined my team in October to work towards her fitness goals and healing her body from the inside out. In her first month, she also helped two others get started on their journey!! Since joining my bootcamp as a coach, she has lit a fire in me to keep working towards my goals, to stop walking and start sprinting!

She is already halfway through her 80 day program. Not easily done! I can’t wait to see her results and how she continues to help others.
