THE STAR OF THE SHOW: NOT HER.
We fought over it. Of course she is 👸🏼. Yesterday I got schooled by an 11 year old on the proper knot used to make a tutu on a fun new series we're launching. I've know this little 💩 for almost half her life and Milan is a total blast to be around, funny, witty, we sang Africa by Toto, she banged out a Phil Collins drum solo, and we danced to what I'm confident is the biggest girl song of 2018. And I think I liked it.
P.S. Milan...they are NOT booty shorts! 😤
Disclaimer: Pants were worn during this episode. I only took them off at her request. With parental supervision. And parental encouragement. From the dad.
Finally first chance to properly use a safety squat bar and definitely a fan. Felt it was much easier to place quad emphasis than a normal back or front squat as I’m normally a very glute/ham dominant squatter. Got a bit cocky with 4 plates but couldn’t seem to keep myself stable, think it was my weak core not being able to keep me upright, so sensibly dropped back to 3 plates and repped out, just managed the 13th rep that annoyingly cuts out just after the 12th on video, cheers Instagram.. 😑 always a good session through at Powerhouse in SouthShields, love that place.
Tough weather conditions, a tough course and 24hours at World Toughest Mudder 2018 by some truly inspiring and amazing people. I watched some footage in awe and support of those i've had the honour of running with in the last few years. Be amazing, be spectacular: be yourselves. 💪💪💪💪🏆
As anyone who knows me through @toughmudder will agree, I had a poor season running wise in 2018, as I couldn't run more than a few feet without getting out of breath and the one time I needed to run fast my lungs were on fire.
I'm pleased to say, I've been and done an actual training run, where I was able to run the entire distance, aside from pausing to check for cars. I'm made up I can come back next year and should be able to run an entire course. #TeamShortShorts#Fitness#Stronger
It is done! The most brutal and painful thing I’ve done.
I covered 35miles over the 24 hours.
It was cold! Insanely cold. Every lap I came back with frost on me all the kit froze after taking it off.
I managed to do one lap at night and then another in the morning to secure my 24hour headband.
I’m gutted to not get 50 miles but I’m more than happy with my results due to the weather we had.
A massive thank you to @holliesheppard1 and the rest of the pit crew we had. I couldn’t have done it without them.
Massive congrats to the rest of @teamshortshorts with their achievements!
Till next time worlds. Till next time......
Today’s the day!! From 12noon (5pm GMT) I will be taking on Worlds Toughest Mudder! A 24hour endurance race taking on some of the biggest obstacles ever made!
I have my Pit crew @holliesheppard1 with me to help me through and I have my Team (@teamshortshorts ) with me aswell.
This is the biggest event I’ve ever done and I’m so excited to see what happens!
See you Sunday evening 😜
