The earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of the dot on scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner of the dot. How frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity -- in all this vastness -- there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. It is up to us. It's been said that astronomy is a humbling, and I might add, a character-building experience. To my mind, there is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known. -Carl Sagan
Here’s the truth. You are not alone in your fears or the only one struggling or fighting to survive. On a daily basis we each have our own battles and how we choose to respond or react will determine the outcome.
Lately, I’ve been battling with my body; allowing fear to take over. But the devil doesn’t have to win. I’m thankful that I have a God; a powerful, loving, caring God who knows my fears, who see’s me for who I am & loves me enough to fight along side me.
When it comes to our health and future there’s nothing more important than your relationship with God. The more you develop and grow in that relationship the more it will help with your next battle. Are you prepared?
Like the runner who trains consistently for a race and takes heed to the advice of a mentor so should we as believers be a part of a church that supports and guides us in our personal walk with God. (Matt 18:20) (Psalm 119:105)
Like a diet restricting one from certain ingredients and habits that are unhealthy, so ought we be mindful of what we intake. God gave us a spirit of discernment and there will come a time where you'll have to answer: Is what I’m about to do, who I’m about to see or where I’m about to go pleasing to God? If not, don’t be afraid to make a change and remove that toxic, unhealthy, poisonous thorn out of your life. If something or someone is causing you to stumble then maybe it’s time to let it go. When we let go of those toxins we draw closer to God. (Prov 22:24-25)
Like a student studying intently for an exam, so should we use the tools that God gave us to have victory over our battles. God left us with His Word, a book full of hope and truth. Study the Bible intently, don’t just read but allow the words to be beacon of hope and your defense against those who persecute you. (Eph 6:17)
Like medicine aiding in our physical struggles so should our prayer life strengthen and aid in our relationship with God. Pray without ceasing; cast all of your cares on Him and He will listen. God hears your prayers; don’t be afraid to talk to Him. (Phill 4:6)
Trust in God to keep you healthy: physically, mentally, emotionally and most of all spiritually.

Kanye took to his Twitter today to call out Drake, requesting a face-to-face meeting for an apology. Kanye initially shared a screenshot of a text message where Drake was requesting clearance of the 2009 single “Say What’s Real”, which samples Yeezy’s “Say You Will” beat. Kanye then went on to address Drake’s “350s” comment, Pusha T, and sneak dissing to Travis Scott and Kris Jenner. What are your thoughts ?
