Happy Monday! I hope it’s a great start to the new week for you. Here’s a snapshot from my home office. I keep some little things on my desk that represent all of my reading loves to make for a pleasant working environment. Is there something you have to keep close by while you work?
I am not a tea person, it's a fact about me. I will choose coffee, juices, or water over tea. 😂😂😂 The healthy tea I used to force my self to drink which is the green tea gave me an unpleasant sticky after taste. And many other packed tea... That's why my perception of tea is bad. Bad taste.
However, this #exceltea I can drink consistently for a week or two (just nice for half detox lol). Just because... The after taste for me is pleasant, acceptable...weirdly. And gladly, I like them over other teas.
A plus to this tea, I am drinking an #extraordinary cup of tea because of the ingredients that's superb for my body. Its a #fusion tea with Hawthorn fruit, stigma maydis, #seabuckthorn leaf and Aloe Vera extracts.
This tea helps to boost my sluggish detoxification and with the cleansing of my colons, ultimately my skin becomes clearer, gives color to my pale complexion and gradually reduces my high cholesterol.
I have one book tradition: once a year I read a book by Remarque (in the photo book Remarque "Shadows in Paradise"). I really love this author. I like the style of his narration, stories he tells, characters - I like these all very much. But all his books are so horrible in terms of human destinies (even if they are not the main characters) that I'm just afraid of falling into depression and becoming one of the sad characters of his stories. So once a year, when the sun is shining in the street, and everything is fine in my life, I open the book of Remarque and voluntarily plunge into the horrors of the war. .
Do you have any book tradition?
My brain is filled to the brim with funny ideas of what a relationship between Korra and Tahno would look like (for those who have no idea what I’m talking about, go watch Legend of Korra. Right now). It would probably always be comebacks of the century, as well as a whole lot of competition. They’d make an awesome couple... but Makorra still lives on in me. Tahnorra is a close runner up, though.

This book was one of my absolute FAVORITES last year. I nearly died when I got an ARC of it, and I am seriously looking forward to rereading it soon (I swear, if autocorrect changes rereading to treading one more time, I’m throwing my phone across the room). Claire Legrand is an amazing author, and I highly suggest y’all check her out if you haven’t already.

The adorable ONCE UPON A TIME bookmark was made by the awesome @uncriticalbookmarks, aka Kelsey! I love all of her bookmarks, and I seriously cannot wait to see what she comes out with next. Her shop is actually on vacation mode, but that’ll only be for a little bit y’all! I’ll make sure to update you on when it’s reopened.

Another adorable thing in this photo: my lovely BOOKS ARE LIFE decal made by Cheyanne over at @novabookish! Cheyanne is actually a debut author this year, and I’ll be reading her book very soon! I highly suggest y’all go check out her shop and find something you like. My rep code is BELLE10.

I’ll be spending the day helping my school (still haven’t moved yet 😭) prepare for incoming freshmen—hey Finch! Hope you’re excited to start your first year of high school! With a burned hand, I don’t know how much help I’ll be. I’m just hoping I don’t have to clean anything. 😅 I do enough of that at my job, and we have people who’s job descriptions are literally just lobby and service cleaners.

What book are y’all praying you or someone else will write?
