PROTECT THE ASSET
This concept - putting myself first - has taken me a long time to figure out.
It's so easy to neglect your needs in your misguided quest to hold up the world.
To be, do and have all that you desire you must take exquisite care of yourself.
IT IS ESSENTIAL.
The amazing @jennykem taught me so much during our work together. Smart marketing and rock-solid strategy are top on the list ... but the greatest lesson I learned from her is ... PROTECT THE ASSET.
Inhale and exhale with me ... and listen.
I'm currently enrolling for 2 programs right now and we are on track to have our biggest month ever.
I am ready. I have been preparing for this moment all of my life.
And while there is A LOT I want do to share these opportunities with as many of the right women as possible ... I know I must PROTECT THE ASSET above everything else.
That means ... >> This morning I did my FASTER WAY TO FAT LOSS workout listening to a band I loved in college that I just rediscovered > LESS THAN JAKE (they are soooo good!) >> Today I had a 105-minute massage with an expert message therapist at the amazing @kripalu. My body feels so good! >> I ate the most delicious and healthy lunch by myself reading an inspiring book >> We booked on extra babysitting time for the kids today so I can feel more supported. >> I delegate everything I can to my team so I am only operating in my ZONE OF GENIUS >> I am ruthless with my priorities and only spend my time on activities that bring me joy and advance this mission
These are the kinds of tips I share with my clients. This is what I'll be focusing on with my people in 2019.
Because honestly what you need is more SACRED SPACE + COURAGE to grow your magical work in the world.
First priority: PROTECT THE ASSET.
Love + magic,

So far December has been the most productive month of the year 🗓

I am in LOVE with my new prize wheel for next year. I’m going to use it alongside class dojo - when the kids reach a certain amount of points they get to spin the wheel. You can write on the wheel with whiteboard markers so I can chop and change the prizes as I like.

Agradecida con el universo y con @andreachediak por darme la oportunidad de realizar la replica del vestido que @jlo utilizo en la premier de su pelicula @secondactmovie, por el gran maestro @giambattistavalliparis.
Utilizado por esta gran modelito que hizo que resaltara por esa gran actitud en la entrevista de @despiertaamericatv, gracias ☄☄☄☄☄☄☄☄☄☄☄ Grateful to the universe and to @andreachediak for giving me the opportunity to replicate the dress that @jlo used in the premiere of his film @secondactmovie, by the great teacher @giambattistavalliparis.
Used by this great outfit that made it stand out for that great attitude in the interview of @despiertaamericatv, thanks

D is for Donut! 🍩 We had a blast making donuts together today. It was a great lesson in safety (lots of reminders not to touch the HOT donut maker!) and we talked about words that start with the letter D! My favorites: dinosaur, dog, and of course, donut!!
This year, teachers in my district are asked to do I Can Statements as Learning Targets. I’m using How can I statements and students have really enjoyed the flexibility and deeper conversations How Can I Statements allow for high, low and average students. Also accompanied each content board is related vocabulary and interactive resources students can grab at any time instead of having tons of posters and PDFs on the walls.
This is a two-part post!
1. I am so excited to announce my rebranding, new blog, and a 2nd store all on one site! 🎉🎉🎉
2. I just posted my first blog post on my new site titled, “The Most Engaging Pre-Reading Activity for the Middle School English Classroom”. I explain how to use Prediction Passages, and I included the activity along with the words and phrases I used for A Long Walk to Water for FREE!

What an amazing afternoon!!! I ran a free Modern Calligraphy Workshop for @macmillancancer and had the pleasure of meeting and teaching these inspirational, incredible, strong and just lovely people.
I know many people who have suffered from the ‘C’ word and it effects everyone, the person diagnosed, loved ones, friends and family. It’s not easy fighting cancer but there’s one thing we need to remember - we have each other. And we also have some amazing charities who pull out all the stops 🌟🙏 Thank you @kingstonhospitaluk and @macmillancancer for letting me run my workshop with you all. Also a huge thank you to my dear, talented friend @amandabamble for your help, support and design skills throughout this project 🙏❤️😘 xxx
"A veteran health teacher in the @LAUSD phoned to let me know what a great surprise it was to get such a strong response from her students while teaching the @PhaseOneLA funded "Testicular Cancer Awareness Initiative" pilot program. She did not expect to have such a deep conversation with her students in response to this lesson plan. Since there were both male and female students going through the lessons together, she was unsure of how her female students would respond. However, she was pleasantly surprised to find the young women were extremely empathetic in the conversations with their male peers. The dialogue was very powerful."
