Pic dump 1- Month long Armattan Chameleon Ti build. First time I was a little bit picky about parts for a build. After two suicidal JBF4’s and one mismatched Lumenier LX2205, it’s up and flying well (see upcoming post). This was my first matched stack build, using the Dalrc Engine/F405 combo and I definitely love the convenience and cleanliness. It also mounts with the electronics completely isolated from any metal screws in all three dimensions so the whole stack floats with tension adjustable by the top nuts. So very proper. I made some ugly soft motor mounts too since the neoprene ones I’ve purchased in the past seemed too thick and soft. This thin 3m stuff is still not what I want but ok for now. The LX2205’s run... ok. They weigh in at 25 grams so whatever. (No need to mention my “crappy Chinese” racerstars had much more power until after some tuning right?). The blue Foxeer Monster Mini replaces my Runcam because the other central component of this build is the 16:9 Aomway Commanders. Sadly my IPD (distance between my eyes) is just north of their 69mm max, so out they go and with them, potentially, 16:9 as well. The use of kydex throughout should entertain 😁 Anyway I obviously went all ‘Merica with it but we all know these spend time in the grass and my white vinyl frame graphics idea would not have been worth the effort. For now we rip, tune, rip, fix, rip, test @armattanquads lifetime warranty, and repeat!
