Emily and Evelyn at their recital this past weekend! These two have been unseperable since meeting in class. Even though they are a year apart they played so good together. They shared lunches and played together almost everyday. Hopefully in the future they will remind in touch and stay friends. #socutetogether#winterwonderland

This sounds sooo corny, but I have so many amazing memories in these shoes! I haven't done a Tap class in over a year, and before that I dabbled a bit in classes after properly giving it away when I was 21 (seven years ago)!! I threw myself right into an advanced class today with one of the best - Eden Read, and to my surprise actually did quite well 😋 Tap has always been one of my greatest loves!! ❤️
FEATURE FRIDAY! We asked Felicia Boswell about her first experience wearing a pair of LaDucas…“Dear God,” she replied. “I've worn so many of LaDuca’s gorgeous shoes I seriously can’t even count!” And Boswell wasn’t exaggerating. She’s danced in what might be a hundred pairs of LaDucas on both stage and screen and scored accolades from the Helen Hayes and Broadway World Awards. She most recently graced Broadway in George C. Wolfe and Savion Glover’s SHUFFLE ALONG and public television on NBC’s “Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE.” Boswell’s roles have taken her through the decades—as Josephine Baker in SHUFFLE ALONG, Celie in THE COLOR PURPLE, Felicia in MEMPHIS, Diana Ross in MOTOWN, and Mimi in RENT. She explains, “Above all, I’m an actor. And there’s no greater nuisance to me than having to consider my costume or shoes while I'm telling a story. With LaDucas, there’s a marriage of style and practicality. I feel like a superhero because I have complete support and freedom while performing.” Boswell’s favorite shoes, however, are not a custom show pair at all. “I love the new Cinnamon LaDucas,” she says. “A gorgeous, yummy hue for women of color—My feet literally look like candy when I’m wearing them.” Earlier this year Boswell was invited to the official launch party for the new Cinnamon LaDuca, hosted by Phil LaDuca himself. “I was honored and humbled,” she remembers. “Diversity and inclusivity are so important, and every dancer should feel represented in this industry. LaDuca’s Cinnamon shoe is one of the many progressions being made towards the collective effort to represent all races and colors in show business.” #laducashoes#laducas#laduca#dancers#dancerslife#charactershoes#customshoes#tapshoes#jazzshoes#jazzdance#musicaltheatre#broadway#westend#musicals#costumedesign#costumedesigner#dancewear#philladuca#danceshoes#dance#theatretraining#stage#onstage#professionaldance#choreography#triplethreat#shufflealong#memphis#jesuschristsuperstar#feliciaboswell
