“Keshi” refers to unplanned pearls that are born in farms. Taking its name from the word for poppyseed in Japanese... Keshi occurs in all cultured pearl productions. These Keshi pearls come from the tropical farms of French Polynesia... harvested from the black lipped oyster.
From a giant lot, I carefully sort these into pairs and small lots to be used slowly in our designs. Nature does not rush.
