I used to fear death. I used to fear the possibility of a nothingness after death. But every minute I spent worrying were minutes I could have spent embracing being alive. I do not fear death anymore because the taste of life makes dying worth swallowing. And the moments I spend living with a full soul allow me not to concern myself with whether it will be delicious or not because every breath is sweet enough. #livelifetoitsfullest#freedom#sweetness
Three interesting pumpkin 🎃 facts!
☝️Pumpkins are a member of the gourd family, which includes cucumbers, honeydew melons, cantaloupe, watermelons and zucchini. Native to Central America and Mexico, but now grow on six continents.
✌🏼In 1584, after French explorer Jacques Cartier explored the St. Lawrence region of North America, he reported finding “gros melons.” The name was translated into English as “pompions,” which has since evolved into the modern “pumpkin.”
🤟🏿Mathias Willemijns of Belgium set the current world record for heaviest pumpkin Oct. 2016. It weighed 2,624 pounds, according to the Guinness World Records.
My little neighbor friends in India that used to look after me, call me auntie and run up to me anytime they saw me. The little one, Naia, was like a squeakie toy squealing with delight as I used to hug and squeeze her and spin her around every time I saw her. She would insist on helping carry my bags (perpetual bag lady me) with her bigger siblings even though they were almost as big as she was. Squealing the entire way. I’m convinced she’s a human squeak toy meant to bring joy and delight to all she meets. #memories#love#sweetness#india#childrenareourfuture#girlskirtmission#livingworkinginindia
