Anddddd the back pain is back again 😫

But I didn’t let that stop me from pushing play on my 38 minute workout today. It was chest and triceps so that won’t really affect my back, right!?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Was it my highest calorie burn? No. Was it my sweetest workout? No. But I did what I could and hopefully didn’t over do it so whatever this pain is will GO AWAY and I can resume as normal tomorrow! 💪🏼 #pushplayeveryday

Today is a freaking incredible day. I get to welcome a new coach to my team. I get to help a brand new crew of amazing women begin an 8 week journey. I get to respond to so many e-mails from so many people who saw my post last night and are wanting to get started in my 3 week self-love virtual bootcamp that is coming up on September 3rd. These 20 spots might go quickly!

Before finding these at home workout programs I was stuck. I was one of those people who had a gym membership but was only going 1-2 times a week because I didn’t have someone to go with or I felt I didn’t have the time. I was feeling really down on myself and the anxiety and stress of my job was becoming overwhelming. Enter Beachbody and the amazing community that comes with it. .

All my excuses went out the window when I gained accountability partners and women who were actually wanting ME to get fit. And not to mention now I just walk to my living room to workout. And because of all of this, I have been consistently working out for almost 1.5 years and I haven’t been able to say that since my high school soccer days! ⚽️

It hasn’t been easy but it’s been 💯 worth it!  There have been struggles and so many times that I didn’t want to workout but what keeps me going is how I feel after a workout and how I feel knowing I’m doing something great for my health. .

So my question for you is, are you ready? Are you ready to feel like you are doing something good for yourself every day? Are you ready to put fear and excuses aside and GET TO WORK? Because I’m ready to help you babe, and be your biggest cheerleader!

I love the fact that I only workout 4 days a week and I’m still progressing. EVERY DAY I find things that I’ve improved with. Today it was the push-ups!! It’s the little things that mean the most!☺️

Everyday I continue to impress myself 🤣 hahaha ...but, really. I worked all weekend (12 hour shifts) & after my very long shift yesterday I am POSITIVE the “old me” would’ve devoured a huge milkshake 🍦(#icecreamaddiction), skipped dinner & then maybe had a beer if I was still awake. NOT THIS TIME!!✌🏼👋🏼 Instead, I drank my 🌱all-natural🌱 pre on the way home, crushed a 25-min at home workout with my extra 25lb weight (as seen in the video above 😏) & got a much needed sweat it 💦! I felt AMAZING you guys!! Then I devoured my meal plan approve dinner & guzzled down my superfood shake🍫🤤 - SOOO my body is thanking me & ya I’m freakin’ proud of myself...& I woke up this morning ready to SLAY 💪🏼👊🏼

C. In a long distance relationship

A. Commuting over 45 min to TWO part time jobs
B. Moving in with Ben 
C. Spending as much time with family (which lived over 45 min away) as possible)
D. Job Searching
E. Wedding planning
F. Going back and forth to Wisconsin

And the whole time, I was also a #doggymom who worked out EVERY SINGLE DAY.

A 30 minute workout is 2% of your day... I’m pretty sure YOU HAVE TIME.

You ALWAYS have time for the things that are important to you. If you don’t have time, then it’s not a priority right now.

TIP OF THE DAY: I thought I'd touch on some things that keep me motivated. 
1.) "Leading by example" hosting challenge groups for others keeps me motivated and not wanting to give up. 
2.) Personal development!! Grow your mind to fight through limiting beliefs
3.) Meditations and expressing gratitude on the daily. 
4.) MUSIC motivates me as well! Do you listen to music when you exercise?! 🎶 
5.) Having the desire to be better than I was the day before. Don't compare yourself to others, it's you vs. you! #teamambitiousaction #bodsquad

I love them with eggs, on salads, on toast, anytime of the day add a little avocado to it and it makes it better 😋. Has anyone done it in a smoothie? 1. I thought “who would want me as a coach if I’m not reaching 100%” well that was just dumb because I don’t expect my coach to be perfect 
2. I thought “in order to get the right results I need to be 100%” again so wrong .

Number two is the harder one because it isn’t I need to reach 100% every day, every week...it’s about me GIVING 100% each day. Knowing that for that day I tried as best I could. And little by little each week was better in one way or another than the week before and slowly I started seeing changes. St the beginning I would have FREAKED OUT that I over indulged at the wedding last weekend 😏 now: I had FUN and the next day I realized I will go right back to my meal plan and feel amazing this week. That 1 day didn’t mess anything up. I didn’t loss any progress from 1 night. .

Here is to giving my best this week and enjoying the balance I have created for myself 🌻 .

Morning workouts aren’t easy. Getting up before the sun isn’t fun. I could easily just get my workout in when I get home, but I’m choosing to put myself first in the morning - not brandon or the dogs, but myself. Sure, it sucks when the alarm goes off at 4:15, but by the time I’m done, I don’t even realize what time it is. Don’t be afraid to put yourself first; your whole world could have a positive change if you take the chance.

While Monday’s are still kind of the worst, I love how they’re a logical spot to reset back into a [good] routine.
It's the day where I assess and restock the fridge, plan the week's meals, and clean up the house to prepare for a brand new week of to-do’s. It’s also a chance to reset my fitness and nutrition routines, and while sometimes pretty hard, I always look forward to it.
I try to let a little loose on the weekends because I truly believe in balance and just enjoying things you enjoy, guilt-free. But it’s nice to know that I’ll come back to a steady routine in a few days and be back on track.

Alright #fitfam, here's the deal. I finished week 1 of BBMG and did 4 days of intermittent fasting. I found it harder to stick to ending my eating window over the weekend because I am social and also because my schedule during my eating window that did not allow me to fit all my meals in. That being said, I'm still not sure if it's for me. I found myself overeating because I'm still in the mindset that I have to have 3 meals. I felt sick a few times because of how much or quickly I ate to fit it in. This might sound stupid, but I'm thinking of trying it for a few more days and shortening my eating window further so that I'm less likely to over eat. I'd probably only be able to fit 2 large meals and maybe a snack in that time rather than 3 large meals (and sometimes a snack). FYI, I don't believe in the metabolic effects of IF, but I do believe that I can use it to control my calorie intake (eventually).
I'm panicking because I had my first dress fitting on Friday (and hair and makeup trial yesterday, as you can see) and my dress was too tight around my hips. The seamstress is going to let it out so that it's more comfortable, but that shit cost like $75 😭! I literally can't afford to gain any more weight in the next 2 months 😅. So if I can't get a handle on IF this week, I'm going back to counting macros because I know it works and I'm on a time crunch. I’m just going to be totally raw and real with you this morning. Today was one of the hardest workouts yet. 😞 After a weekend of indulging I let those negative thoughts creep inside my head. ❌ Some tears were shed and I struggled through some of it but I never gave up. When times get rough and you are ready to throw in the towel, just remember why you started. It’s never going to be easy - you are going to have good days and bad days. Don’t let those bad days consume you, let those days fuel your fire and work harder. 🔥 .

Started with sumo deadlifts (done by the squat rack because I didn’t feel like taking off 120 kg that someone left on the deadlift platform 🙄) and continued with all types of leg exercises. It was a great workout and a great start to the Eid holiday!
Day 2️⃣ of @desb___ ‘s first anniversary challenge! Today was leg day 🍑💦 and man, it was a tough one! Repping these strong arms proud today for all they’ve helped me achieve. To be honest I’ve always been self-conscious about my “gymnast arms”. I’ve tried to get rid of them since finishing sports, but they are here to stay. 
But why should I be ashamed of the muscles that helped me tumble, swing bars, and go on to win championships? Be proud of your body for all it has allowed you to do!
