TV 📺 dinner tonight while we watched The Greatest Showman (or shall I say tried to finish it for the 5th time. #mykidscantsitstill 💆🏼♀️) In pretty much the same amount of time as it took to bake 2 frozen pizzas for these cherubs, I made this delicious bowl FULL of cauliflower risotto (swipe to see )👩🏼🍳! I was inspired by a recipe in my nutrition course recipe book and this deliciousness took shape. Y’all!!! It was so good and so worth the little bit of effort. How does the #word#fitness make you feel? Does it bring up #happy feelings or #anxiety , frustration, & total discomfort? Fitness by definition is the quality of being suitable to fulfill a particular role or task. What task/role you say? Life, life is the task. Life is the role. It’s looks different for each of us. You see for me it’s has been a #lifesaver , a saving grace, & a place where I can let all the stress physically & so often even mentally release from my body. It has pretty much been a catalyst for #change in my #life . It has saved my sanity & changed my life. I’ve always been #active but for a long stretch I became inactive to the point where #exercise seemed daunting😳 I worked out though 3 of my 4 pregnancies & was pretty sure I had a #habit formed.... but then we moved & I just stopped. I didn’t know where to go, how to start again, or how to balance it w/ 4 kids & a husband who worked out of town a few days week. Not going to lie it was daunting to think about, organize, & recommit to doing again. I took a 4 year hiatus. The idea of starting over again was not something I was looking forward to. In fact I was dreading it, so not doing it at all just felt like a simple decision, way less stressful, & well just plain ol easy. What I didn’t realize was that I was doing a huge disservice to myself & essentially to my family. How? Well exercise creates endorphins & those help to fend of depression. It’s literally like a free drug with no 💩ty side effects & a hella lot of positive changes. Here’s the deal. It’s doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you go. People often quit things right away because well....they are hard & hard isn’t fun all the time. But here’s the secret....hard work....well it pays off & sometimes 10 fold. For me the #gym created a place I could get stress out. A place I could grow, push myself & actually see change. A place I could get healthy, get clarity & get toned all in 1. It really is a win win. Does it suck to start? YES. Will it hurt? YES. Will it take time? YES. Is it worth it? 100% YES. It has opened up so many doors for me. Imagine what it can do for you. Are you ready to change??? 9am to 10:30am: Bikram Hot yoga class,
11am to 12pm: Power yoga class*
