I lead the Baptiste Foundation Unstoppable Training Sutherland Yoga Studio!
The #unstoppable program exists to create an unstoppable and resilient generation of children that use Baptiste Yoga as a life skill. This is a training for anyone who works with youth- school teachers, school counselors, aides, coaches, community center employees, first responders, etc. You will learn through an personal experience, a set of tools to teach basic yoga poses, breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques to youth in whatever setting you encounter them in. The training will also give an introduction as to why and how these tools can help youth who have experienced trauma. You will be given valuable tools that will teach you to care for yourself first so you can more effectively serve others. This training will cover how yoga, meditation and self inquiry are powerful tools for your own self care, but also through experiencing them for yourself, how you can share them with others.
The training is for educators, first responders, volunteers at community centers, school district employees..anyone who is currently working with youth full time for $99 donation to the Baptiste Foundation to secure your spot in the training. If you are not currently working with youth, it is a $395 donation to the Baptiste Foundation.

Holy time balls, Batman. Where has the month of April gone? It feels like only yesterday I was preparing to take my month hiatus from yoga teaching. Now my hiatus is almost over and I’m preparing to step back into my teaching shoes (figuratively speaking of course, as a yogi’s toes are always bare and fancy free). I’m feeling a mixture of trepidation & excitement. I’m excited to share what I’ve learnt the last month, about myself and for myself. To come back with my batteries recharged and with a newfound respect and commitment to my own practices. I’m excited to implement the boundaries I’ve decided are necessary. And to practice holding myself accountable for my own energy and the way I feel in the room. In the same breath, I’m scared I’ll slip back into pattern. I’m scared I’ll fall back into burn-out, and into resentment. I’m scared I’ll lose the love of the practice itself that I’ve worked hard to find again.
I feel as though I may be turning over a new leaf, though I’m not entirely sure what that looks like just yet. But I think it’s about time I find out... Come find out with me at my classes, starting back at Body Awakenings with my Saturday 7:30am Hatha - 5th of May. And Monday 6pm Hatha on the 7th.
Also adding in on Wednesday evenings at Connect The Dots in Oatley with an Advanced course and Yin & Meditation - watch this space ♥️ #becoming30#woman#feminist#watchthisspace ##nicoleamduryoga#blog#daringgreatly#yogaeverydamnday#yoga#asana#meditation#kirtan#sydney#cronulla#cronullayoga#yogawoman#yogagram#love#sutherlandshire#sutherlandyoga#sydneyyoga#sydneyyogateacher#yogateacher#yogateacherlife
Start today, draw a line in the sand and shove all of last years worries on one side (preferably the one with water so it drowns and dissolves into nothing...because worries literally are that - nothing but a thought).
See how quick your thought just changed then.
On the other side....write your truth. EXACTLY what you want, EXACTLY what reality you choose and write it big and bold and STAY WITH IT.
It's your year so stay on YOUR SIDE.

Pulled this gorgeous card this morning. Happily recieving this message that ties in with my intentions with the solar eclipse energy, as well as the theme behind tonights yoga class. Divine timing.
The card is labelled "clairvoyant" and encourages us to look forward and see if our current life choices are leading to destination of choice or are we compromising due to a sense if obligation or lack of self-worth.
Mantra: I open myself to further develop my intuitive skills and I know that it is safe for me to allow myself to see.
The 3rd eye chakra we are working with tonight at yoga is connected to intuition, insight & visualisation..
Come and look as peaceful as my puppy at yoga tonight. We will focus on the heart chakra for all the earm & fuzzies. Class is 730pm at Sutherland yoga. It will be my last Monday for a while with gorgeous Serena taking over so those who love the timeslot won't miss out.
Yoga tonight. 730pm feel good class. This class has been fairly full of late, if you are thinking about it BOOK in, still plenty of spots left for tonight. Yoga is your time to connect back with yourself, to learn more about your patterns & habits. Come along & breath fully as we learn about the solar plexus chakra (number 3 in our chakra series). Link to book is on bio.
This week in our yoga classes the focus will be on the sacral chakra (second chakra) which is associated with the colour orange. The sacral chakra for me is all about creativity & fluidity. Come & move with me on your mat to explore this in more depth. As we proceed through the different chakras as a theme for these next weeks, you might like to take note of how your body/mind/spirit feel during & after class. Sometimes we can become aware of where we have become out of balance simply by tuning in.
Candlelit yin is on again this evening. Yin yoga truly allows us to slow down & settle our nervous systems, while also releasing tension in our bodies. Class starts at 8pm. Come along and feel the effects for yourself. Bookings via MindBody app (link in bio). Some classes have been full, so book in to secure your spot. 📸@unsplash
