Sunday hangs with this crazy cat. Today you’ve covered me with every bodily fluid possible including a spectacular projectile vomit 5 minutes before we were due to leave the house, but it’s okay because I love you 👌🏼
Surrounded by the Tongas National Forest, Wrangle St-Elias and Glacier Bay National Parks is a place where many take cover from Alaska’s Gulf storms. It is identified in the Tlingit Native language as Yaakwdaat (the place where canoes rest)
Thanks to @surferdave907 and the boys for another epic time 🤙 🏄🏻🌊

Are you a wave hunter or do you fall prey to every set that marches through your break?
Do you often find yourself sitting too far inside and/or getting lapped by seemingly more aggressive surfers as they catch wave after wave while you sit?
Here’s a simple concept to practice. Watch the wave, decide exactly where you’d need to be to catch it, and paddle to that spot. In fact, paddle a bit further outside that spot. This gives time and space to do 5 hard paddles into the wave and take off.
Don’t wait for waves to come to you or let the waves break endlessly on your head.
Observe. Move. Go to the sweet spot. If your original analysis is incorrect, adjust and paddle to your new sweet spot.
This will increase your wave count and decrease the number of times you get pounded. And who doesn’t want that?

Istanbul a world of culture, colors, smells, art, trade, flavors, noises, monuments... a travel to the past and modern life an unforgettable experience with its colorful daily life and dynamic nightlife, traces of which are at each corner. It´s also the place where you can lose and find yourself. We realized that it’s so important to sometimes take a break and realize what you have and to be grateful for this. I needed this space lately to re-center myself and you know what.. that’s okay, sometimes you need to go back to a space where you can find out what really makes you happy. I never forgot this but sometimes nowadays this image get portrayed that other stuff should make us happy, like the futility of consumerism and the crop images. Of course people like to post this stuff because it keeps us all driven, because we all would like to have specific things, but lets all sometimes stand still and realize there’s no luck in those things, but only in ourselves.
