Down sizing your SUP - Stand Up Paddle Boarding is the easiest sport to do in the world, given the right equipment. Get on the wrong sized board i.e. too small and you will never give the sport a second chance. Taking that into consideration it is fair to say you can never have a board that is too big, it might be hard to handle and manoeuvre but you can still paddle it as it is stable. 💕 #nofilter & special ANIMAL SYMBOL!!
Yesterday we were #supping (stand-up paddleboarding) when i noticed a gigantic TURTLE just below us, doin' her thang, just mooching about, when wow! ::
She floated up in front of us to the surface, turned her head as if to say, "Bonjour, you are welcome in my home!" then glided off. #whatamoment !!
And immediately, #angels , my mind turned to the meaning of this #blessedencounter ...
:: "Slow and steady wins the race"
"Grace doesn't take effort"
"Friendliness bequests protection"
I cannot wait to get home to read @sarahseidelmann 's books to see her #psychic meanings of #seaturtle energy. 🐢🕊💕
10 years. I moved to Jackson Hole 10 years ago this week and I’m having ALL THE FEELS. It’s crazy how slow and how fast time goes, all at once. When I was flying out to Jackson Hole at the ripe age of 22 for an interview, I remember so vividly KNOWING in my gut that this was an important flight for me....so much so I puked on the plane 🤦🏻♀️ It was such an intense gut intuition to know where I was headed was going to be an important part of my life. And at the same time I had no idea what was in store for me.
If I could go back and tell that 22 year old Meagan how much beauty, and love, and heartbreak, and loss, and absolute magic this place had in store for her. If I could go back and tell her how much a tiny town could shape her soul and spirit and mold her into the woman she’s supposed to be. There was so much of it all and yet still so much of it to experience. Life is funny, you certainly can’t plan for it….I never in a million years thought I’d be here for a decade, but I got sucked in, just like the rest of us who came for a winter and just never left.
I get asked a lot what my favorite part about living here is and without hesitation my answer is always, the people. The mountains are high and mighty and majestic, but the people I’ve met in this place are even more so. From the life long friends who have planted their roots here and have become my family, to those who were just passing through, to the friends I’ve lost in those big mountains, to the amazing local business entrepreneurs who have become dear friends, and to all of the crazy mountain town folk who give this place so much funk….thank you, thank you, thank you for helping shape me into who I am today. You all will forever be in my heart and in my story. Thank for you for making this place Home ❤️ #waterworks#becauseallthefeels 📷: @piumatime
Meet the ShowDown. 🛶 The first load-assist mount to handle both SUPs and kayaks, makes loading and unloading heavy boats and boards a breeze. The lightweight mount tilts down more than two feet from the roof rack, takes on up to 45% of the boat's weight, then helps gently raise it up to the top of the vehicle. 👏 Once loaded it securely cradles your boat or boards for the ride. At only 9.5 kg it's super lightweight but built burly enough to wrangle a 36kg load.
Tag a mate you know would love this 👌🛶
