This quote really hit me in my soul.
For years, I was willing to put up with a lot of stuff that I didn’t like.
Then I realized I was a Queen, who deserved better.
So I fixed my crown and started changing my life.
I quit the soul sucking job I was stuck at for five years... I stopped using alcohol to make myself “feel better”....
And I stopped hating my body.
So, here’s my advice to you.
No matter how crappy your life may seem... you have a choice. You can stay in your comfort zone OR you can stop just accepting and putting up with the things you don’t like.
Hate your job? Find a new one.
In a bad relationship? End it.
Tired of your clothes not fitting? Change your diet and lifestyle!
It takes work... but you already know what you have to do. You just gotta do it and stop accepting your current reality as the only thing there is.
You deserve more. You just have to choose.
Who says you can’t wear beautiful, big, bold earrings to drop off little man to preschool and go to the gym!🙅♀️ .
My version of getting dressed up is wearing my lululemon workout clothes to be super mom and squeeze a workout in wherever it fits between nursing Waylon!! Adding these beauties made me feel SO much more put together and always feels good to get multiple compliments in one morning!!

Can’t put into words how incredibly happy I am to introduce Nicholas Logan Villanueva to all our friends and family. Nico was born 11.12.18 @ 5:08pm, weighing 7lbs 1oz and measuring 20in tall. Here are the results:

In our society we are all inundated with negative news and attitudes. Many times when you try to step out, be more positive, or have an outlook that isn’t full of hate and judgement, you can be labeled as an outcast. I feel strongly that in today’s world we need more rebels to fight against the spirit of the dark side. Warriors for good, love, and unity are desperately needed. Honestly, if you look around you, you’ll see a hunger for compassion and hope. Every one of us can begin to fill that need.
So if whoever put the curse on my house could lift it, that'd be great. 😑
But seriously, this is the face of someone who is seriously about to lose their $#!+ 😫 After spending our Saturday night in the ER, I spent Sunday desperately trying to keep the kid & husband seperated, but to ultimately lose that battle as I came home to Andrew with a fever and spots on his throat 😭 So no school for him and we'll be visiting the doctor this afternoon.
And just when I thought things couldn't get anymore fun, guess what I found covering my beloved (and much needed) coffee pot?? 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 I thought I got rid of these buggers when summer ended, but they've come in for one last stand. .
So how am I still standing and not back in bed, sheets covering my head, succumbing to stress & sickness?!?! This Supermom is powered by 2 very precious things: adaptogens & superfoods. Call me crazy all you want but since I started drinking my 🌱 shake everyday for the past 2 and a half years, I've been better able to deal with stress and my immune system has never been better. .
But seriously, can someone please send coffee ☕ and maybe some sage, because apparently I need to cleanse some bad juju from my house. 🙏🙏
Okay, let’s get REAL for a second. The year is almost to an end and 2018 has been so hard but so rewarding at the same time. Most of my days feel like they are fueled by caffeine and anxiety. Between tons of retrogrades, becoming a first time mom, dealing with postpartum depression, balancing my career, social life, family, friends and my relationship.. I’ve most definitely been on an extreme roller coaster.
I’ve encountered so much within a short period of time, and I’ve done it with grace. Knowing I can get up every day and kick ass no matter how I’m feeling inside is something I value deeply about myself. And I do it all for my little one! He truly keeps me going even on my toughest days.
The battles you go through are indicators that blessings are coming your way. There is breakthrough in the breakdowns. I’ve had to tell myself that things don’t always happen your way, they happen in your favor. Trusting the process is key 🔑✨
I may not be Super Woman, But I am super strong, super tough, and super dedicated which makes me feel Super Womanish. 💪 I figure that’s close enough for an average girl, wife, and mom of two. 🌈

@growlinkcontrollers I’ve been using their garden controllers since they first launched. They have been wonderful with helping me automate/monitor/remotely control my garden. And it saved my butt on a cross country trip when my AC broke.

Right before my busy, crazy life turned into complete chaos, my little blender broke. Horrible timing as things got more and more chaotic, my diet got more and more off course and I NEEDED those nutrients!
