Today I received the news that I've been included on the "30 under 30" list by Natural Products Europe, a list highlighting the outstanding contributions of emerging new talent in the health and wellness industry.
When I was 15 I started working In my local health food store as a Saturday boy, which sparked my interest in health and wellness. Twelve years later and with a degree in nutrition at my side I launched my dream business @apothecary27.
I consider myself so lucky to be able to do what I love for a living, and not a day goes by where I don't wake up feeling excited about going to work. Owning your own business is like being on an emotional rollercoaster, but that's what makes it exciting. When you start to feel like things are getting tough, that's when you work harder. From experience the work you do during these times often has the biggest pay off.
I'd like to thank everyone who has been there for me over the first year of launching my business, including my family, friends, professional contacts and my incredible and hard working team at the store, I really couldn't have done it without your help!
My vision has only just started to come to life, and there is still so much more I want to achieve. I can't wait to start sharing some of the incredible changes we will be making in 2018. In the meantime I'm very aware that my twenties are flying by and this may well be the last time I will be included on any kind of "30 under 30 list", so I'm going to take my time to enjoy it 🤣. Y'all I fell off th wagon recently. I ate decent but chips....bread full of butter and all the fixings on my mashed potatoes "somehow" found their way onto my plate...ice cream....sweets #iblamethebunny !!
I struggle like everyone else. I love chips. I love to snack. Good thing is the healthy lifestyleI have been living on the past 3 years allows me to simply jump back into it and I notice real results immediately.
These color coded containers have taught me how to & what & how much of each food group to eat. I was able to drop 20 pounds after I couldn't with any other plan post babies. And I have been able to maintain my healthy weight with no gains for 3 solid years. .
I am not restricted. I eat FOOD. I drink my #suoerfoods cuz they are loaded with vitamins I forget to take solo. I love life and eat out then dial it back in. When I am intentional about my eating? I honestly don't crave the sweets. .

I believe God catches our attention with beautiful sunsets sometimes as a little hug from heaven. Shortly after having a break down in my room, I was sitting in my chair at the table. I noticed a fiery reflection in the window in front of me so I quickly jumped up and looked behind me. Such a beautiful, bright sunset! I was then reminded that minutes before that I was crying out to God in my pain, and had asked him to show some sort of sign, or comfort. I truly needed that "little" hug from heaven.
Yesterday was hard, what day isn't though right now? But God gave me a joy today even in my hurting. David let me sleep in until after 9, woke up to a Cold press coffee he brought home for me, kids had started school on their own, made my breakfast, the kids had their shakes, and then we did some yoga stretching as a family. After that I did my workout while the older ones made lunch, and then after my shower they played outside. David's belated birthday present arrived, did dinner, some pm yoga with the kids, and then read a story about Easter and off to bed they went. I needed this little refresher today, and am so thankful my family met me in my time of need. Lots of hugs and kisses from them, extra help, and a lot of love.
Sometimes it is hard for me to focus on what is in front of me, when my heart hurts so much. It's a process for sure, but wouldn't be where I am without these little munchkins, a loving husband, wonderful friends who let me vent, and a family that is my whole world!

Several people have asked me if @xndosingapore replacement meals can keep me filled . My reply to that is depends on how and what you select . Different meals bear varying amounts in terms of quantity and the calories . For example Tuesdays are my heavy days , with 3 classes to teach, a training session and usually I sneak in a cardio run as well so on Tuesdays I choose a meal with a rice and add a hard boiled egg white and ample garden vegetables .. the meal itself is only 286 kcal and is low on carb and gi . For lighter days I would choose a noodle meal and most of them are barely below 200 kcal.
