Continuing on with my #sumodeadlift progression. I could actually keep at 225lbs and rep it. The movement feels good and I’ve learned to engage my abs during the movement. Pre-training brekkie. Protein banana pancakes with yoghurt and berries, and all for the bargain price of:
🔹️ 490 kcal.
🔹️ 50g carbs.
🔹️ 12g fat.
🔹️ 46g protein.
They taste awesome and are really easy to make.

Whizz 35g protein powder, 35g oats, a banana and 2 egg whites in a blender. Add milk in splashes until it's a pancake batter consistency. (I used soy protein because I find whey too dense and dry in baking - you might need more or less liquid depending on the type of protein you use.)

Fry (10g butter is enough for 4 pancakes if you're watching the calorie content)

Eat 🍽. 👌
(My macros include 50g low fat Greek yoghurt and some berries.)

This week was my strength testing - here is my Sumo Deadlift. 
1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣kg x 3️⃣
1️⃣0️⃣5️⃣kg x 1️⃣ (this beats my previous PR at 104kg)

And that didn’t feel too bad so then...

💁🏼‍♀️Yes I was lazy and didn’t put the bar down!🙋🏼‍♀️

I felt as dazed as I looked in the video - never ever did I think I could do that. Pretty happy and proud of me and how far my training has come in the past 18 months.

I also managed my 1 Rep max on my squat still at 67kg - totally happy with that and working towards my new goal of 70kg x1.
.
Finally yesterday I benched 14kg Dumbells x6 which is also a new PR! .
That feeling of smashing PRs is incredible and I’m off on my massage course this weekend feeling like a kickass Jax!

This is my #newbegin after 5 months no #deadlifts because of my injured back i must do #sumodeadlift instead Classic Deadlifts. It means that i use more my #quads to lift than my lower back,with that exercise the pain is lesser. I have no Disk anymore between L5/S1 it will grow together and the #pain will be gone. But that needs Time. I dont do a surgerie again. Ohmygosh I was so happy today after watching my lifts. @deku.83kg suggested I try to do some paused (yes, I could have paused longer) deadlifts to help train my knees from caving in. Is it weird that my sumo looks better doing paused squats? 🤣 Shoutout to the brudder Michael Jin for the insight and pointers!! And thanks to the sloth @stevenkuann for the applause and encouragement ✌🏼Even though my knees still caved a little, it still felt a lot better than before.

I ran out of bananas to I decided to eat hotdog while training. Super long set up but happy I was still able to lift this weight last April I tried lifting this weight for 1 rep. Woke up today at 50.9kg bodyweight and happy to even deadlift 72.5kg for 2-3reps today. 
I also love @wheylco as an intra-workout fuel. 
Wearing socks from @joycerbtn and a DC shirt. I think I just had to bring out my inner Joyce Reboton and Kara Denvers a.k.a Supergirl today.

Hitting a freaking wall on my deadlifts... Plus side did 5 sets of doubles at 345 first and last set and videos 1&2 felt good moved well. 
3rd video 365 for a single moved well beltless so I think a PR for that. 
4th video decided to jump to 400 that was. No go. Multiple reasons, fatigue from previous sets possibly, form not on point, mental block maybe?, Mobility issues maybe?? Idk I know my form still needs work and hoping with continued belt work I can make improvements. 
But gonna change my approach next week and see if I can get 1 or 2 sets of 400lbs pulls for singles or doubles. If not I have a plan to hopefully help break through this damn deadlift walk so I can hit a big deadlift at some point.

- High bar squats - 265x10 at RPE 7.5
- High bar squats, 530 tempo - 245x5 at RPE 9
- Military press - 105x10 at RPE 9

We're about to head out on vacation, so I had to squeeze in incline bench and pull-ups in the morning, and then squats/military presses at night.  Squats in the Sabo Goodlifts are still feeling, well, good.  However, the big win tonight was being able to military press close to failure without any shoulder pain :) It's been a long road to get this shoulder semi-healthy, hopefully I keep trending in a positive direction!

But maybe a second time around may open your eyes to something you didn’t previously see.  Is there a possibility of you still saying No...yes. But at least you tried.

First week of a Strength-Speed cycle. 5x2 Box Squats @ 120# + about 220# of band tension, followed by 8x1 Sumo Deadlifts @ 240# + Light Band. Positioning was crappy. Upper back had alot more rounding than i like and i also setup with each foot about an inch too wide. But i still sucked it up and got it. @stanton_strength
