Just a lovely summer salad vegetarian style. I’ve noticed I feel better when I eat less meat. I love the taste but it’s harder on my body to digest. That’s just me do what makes you feel good too! Simple salad greens, micro kale, blueberries, homemade kraut, sprouted pumpkin seeds, & more edible flowers 🌺 dressed with Sicilian Lemon balsamic & extra virgin olive oil. Good Morning 🌞 I’m excited to stay home today and just chill with the kiddos. Got my morning workout in and grocery shopped and came home to make this yummy smoothie. I blended 12 oz of homemade cashew milk, 1 tbsp ground flax seed, 2 big piece of frozen cauliflower, 1 frozen banana, 1 scoop of @eatnuttzo 7 nut/seed butter, 1 scoop of collagen @mynaturalforce , 1 tbsp of maca powder, 1/2 tsp he shou wu and ashwagandha @sunpotion , cinnamon and vanilla. Quick Salad bowl because I skipped breakfast and drank matcha while cleaning. I had to think fast because I was hungry! Feels so good to be home. Loving the heat of summer, family/friend quality time, staying up later and sleeping in, garden time, cooking all the food we harvest, and just being on a slower pace than the school year. Trying to let go and surrender to my anal ways of the house being perfectly in order, working out everyday, or doing things on time because you know what it’s Summer & it’s time to chill out and relax. I don’t want to be so strict on myself if I don’t get done everything on my list. I want to be more gentle and talk more kindly to myself. We do the best we can & that’s all that matters. Cookies and Cream Smoothie for breakfast, heck yes!! You wanna make this one 😊 here’s how- blend 10 oz almond milk, 2 big pieces of frozen cauliflower(steamed first then@freeze), half large frozen banana, 1 fresh fig, 1 scoop of collagen @mynaturalforce , 1 spoonful of cashew butter @artisanaorganics , 1 tbsp maca powder, 1 tbsp cacao nibs, 1/2 tsp vanilla, dash of cinnamon, a few ice cubes and optional adaptogen powders for added boost but do not change flavor- 1/4 tsp pearl (contains proteins that help regenerate collagen, rich in calcium, amino acids and trace minerals) 1/2 he shou wu (Chinese herb tonic that supports overall healthy aging by tonifying the liver & kidney functions) and 1/2 tsp polyrachis ant (highest levels of Zinc, strengthens the immune system. Raw Chocolate Cashew Butter Cups with Sprouted Salty Almonds. Perfect way to end the day in my opinion 😋I melt equal parts cacao butter & cacao paste in a double boiler, adding in 1 spoonful of coconut oil & coconut butter and a spoonful of manuka honey & 1 tbsp vanilla (once off the heat). Mix well. Using muffin pan and muffin liners I fill each cup with some chocolate, then lil bit of cashew butter, and chopped sprouted almonds, covering with a touch more melted chocolate. Freeze until hard and enjoy.
