Rose wines are so great in the summer but not only !😎 their fantastic double digit growth make them even more popular than white wines now. My clear favorite are probably the Provence rose with their amazing candie fruitiness ! But there is such a variety of terroirs like the Loire valley rose that have a superb minerality and delicious refreshing fruit . #rose#loirevalley#provencewine#summerwines#pinkwine

This Moscato from southern Australia was the perfect drink for this beauty of view. Rose and lychee aromas, slightly sparkling with flavours of lychee, peach, pear and lemon. Moscato is off-dry in style and lower in alcohol than most wines (this ones around 8.5%) so goes really well with spicy aromatic Asian food.

Rosato - 2017 by @bonavitafaro. Currently on our By-the-Glass board and a top contender for our Summer favourite. This peculiar Rosé is made from a blend of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Nocera, same as the ‘Faro’; a red by the same producer. This wine however gains its ‘Rosé’ characteristics due to the very short maceration process which lasts no more than a few hours. It is dark for a Rosé and with a complexity and depth of flavour that makes it the ultimate chilled summer wine. Why peculiar? Unlike the usual strawberry-tasting rosé you might be accustomed to, here you’re left with the deep flavour similar to Christmas pudding. Yum 🍷
