Summer gave me some amazing memories this year, thanks to The Rollette’s Experience and the wonderful people who helped me get there. I even got to do things that weren’t possible before thanks to my Smartdrive.
I also had some not-so-great times being told I might have cancer, struggling to recover from the Bone Marrow Biopsy, having to restart fluids, still not having answers to my health.
There were definitely some very low times, but I’m blessed to have also experienced what it feels like to be on top the world, surrounded by supportive and kind people.
Thanks for all the fun, Summer, and I don’t hold a grudge against you for all the bad.
Now bring on the Fall leaves and cozy campfire nights, because I am ready for my favorite time of year! FIRST DAY OF FALL HERE I COME! 🍂
Craving nature , the wind in the leaves , the smell of all the different trees , noticing and accepting everything as it is, following the beauty of roots from the trees that stand tall and strong or maybe even withered and dead just accepting all that is, unwinding from the rat race of life dropping any expectations of my self as nature takes you just as you are to become one with everything surrounding you.. but let’s be real ring a bell so mr.bear doesn’t want to come and have a snack 😂 after all this was bear country 🐻 but seriously the woods doesn’t identify by what career they have what clothes, jewelry etc they wear , the trees and bushes are not in competition of each other , they do not compare, they give each other life #kannaskis#bowvalley#woods#forest#summerwarmth#beauty#nature#naturelovers#unwind#gorgeous#favoriteplace#soulful_moments#summeradventures#takemeback

Home away from home. While not every night is a comfortable one, it is liberating to do away with a set schedule and not even know where you may land up for the night. Falling asleep on the roof of your car while watching the Perseid meteor shower? Yes please.
‘Mom, why do you keep on taking my pictures?!’ So much sass in this little lass! First time going to the field day of the past. Little A had fun riding the tram, playing in the kernel pit, seeing the animals at the barn & playing with her girl friends. 🎪 #AmelieAM#21monthsold#thisisone#summeradventures
The Plain of Six Glaciers via the Lake Agnes Tea House is a hike that I do repeatedly. The beautiful scenery, glaciers, views of an iconic hotel and lake, the excitement of tourists from around the globe, and yet the peace and quiet (and much smaller crowds) by the second Tea House pull me back again and again. Ps. To the left of me is Abbots Pass AKA The Death Trap and in front of me is the Victoria Glacier. You can hear and see avalanches from this spot...the sound is thunderous!
