Today I dropped by the Suits Me Fine Boutique again with some items that were most in need: new underwear and belts. These were purchased thanks to my friends and family. My bestie Brittany and I also donated oclothes and accessories. It felt good to declutter while knowing these items went to a great cause.
For those who are interested in donating or contributing please keep in mind that the MOST NEEDED items are: - mens pants or jeans sizes 36 38 and 40
- brand new men's underwear - men's belts of any kind
They just recently received a big donation of new women's clothing so if you have women's clothing I recommend contacting: - Street Haven at the Crossroads women's program - Dress for Success
Found this darling pov painting when I dropped off clothes at Suits Me Fine @camhfoundation

The @camhnews Suits Me Fine fashion show is one of our favourite events of the year. This uplifting and inspiring event was hosted on May 3rd by @thejeannebeker and we’re proud to be the presenting sponsor. .
Suits Me Fine is a clothing boutique open to all CAMH clients. People in the community, CAMH staff and local businesses have generously donated new and gently used clothing to CAMH, and these clothes are made available to our clients free of charge. The store offers a wide range of wardrobe choices, from essentials such as socks and undergarments to casual wear and formal attire including suits, dresses and accessories.
Staffed by volunteers, SMF provides professional and formal clothing for important occasions such as job interviews, court appointments and special events. Suits Me Fine also provides a much needed wardrobe and toiletries to our clients who come by ambulance or through the criminal justice system—admitted to CAMH solely with the clothing they are wearing. The store provides winter coats and shoes whenever possible. #talkhatson#mentalhealth#camh#suitsmefine#suitsmefine2018

What a fantastic afternoon at the #suitsmefine fashion show! The best part about this show is seeing the personalities and confidence of all the models strutting their stuff! Mental illness is a journey and it makes my heart smile to watch people use their mental illness to transform themselves. 🙏🏼 so proud that @hatsonforawareness sponsors this event every year. @camhfoundation @camhnews
One of the most empowering and amazing things I have ever seen was at work today. The #suitsmefine fashion show, hosted by @thejeannebeker gave #camh clients the opportunity to walk the runway in clothes they chose from a selection donated to the event. To see all of their passion, personalities and pride put forward was extraordinary! I love my job and all the efforts it makes to break down barriers!! I have to volunteer for this next year - it’s too tremendous not to!! #suitsmefine2018#endstigma#endstigmaonmentalhealth#ThursdayHappenings#endstigma @camhnews
#suitsmefine donation drop off 👕An amazing initiative through @camhfoundation where the donated business-type clothing is given to people with severe mental illness, to help them interview for jobs that will give them their second chance in life! So many great charities in this city! What’s your #charity of choice?👖👔👚👗#donate#givingback#secondchances
