Bonjour Monday, we are feeling very Parisian this morning as we look back on a shoot we did with @oncewaslost.co @winterwares and @abbie_melle / pass the croissants! #betheexplorers - photo by @oncewaslost.co
Ich kann mich gut daran erinnern, wie ich jeden Tag nach der Arbeit im Sone Town-Café saß, einen „spiced Coffee“ trank und das Treiben auf dieser belebten Straße beobachtete. ☕️ #PPMotion @passionpassport
When was the last time you were a tourist in your own city? Living in Paris you’re easily spoiled with so many options of the things to do, museums, exhibits, events, or shows... I’ve been wanting to go to Musée Rodin for years and finally made it while my parents were visiting. If you‘re looking for a museum beyond the Louvre you’ll enjoy Musée Rodin- a former hotel particulier turned museum! My favorite part was the detail in all the statues and walking through the perfectly lined gardens!! What are some of your fav museums in Paris? #paris#museums#thingstodo#découvrirensemble
#fbf to when traveling doesn’t go exactly as planned but then it throws you Sabu on your way (not literally, of course 😜) and makes it one of the most unexpected and fun days of my five months trip! Thank you Sabu, you freaking superstar of a guide 🌟
After a 6+ hour journey from Kochi to Wayanad (a beautiful train coastal journey to kozhikode + bus to Wayanad). Going from having accommodation (Yay 🤙) to no accommodation (F£@& 😳 👎) because it got cancelled literally on our way there. To having accommodation again (🙌🙌) because the guy who cancelled the place ended up sorting out another accommodation for us.
Chembra Peak⛰, which was the reason we went all the way to Wayanad, was closed due to forest fires that took place a couple of months earlier 🤦♀️ As desperate times call for desperate measures we resort to Google (🙌🙌feels enlightened) and with a quick search Brett finds this guide, Sabu 👨🏽🦰, excellent reviews. We call him and he is able to take us on a tour around some cool country side in a couple of hours from then (🍀hallelujah, hears song playing in her head🍀) Finally we meet Sabu, and this guy is an absolute legend! He’s super friendly, knowledgeable (he’s also a farmer so he knows everything about plants), he has a wicked sense of humour and we had the most engaging tour ever totally taking us back to childhood and feeling like a kid!
If you swipe through the photos/ videos you’ll see us do the most ridiculous things from: climbing up a coconut tree, making bubbles from the stem of a plant, riding on a banana leaf, trying to do a 360 with a stick and Sabu, the man himself, showing us how to do it properly.
“Travel. Make memories. Have adventures. Because I guarantee when you’re on your death bed, you won’t think about that flashy car you bought, or the 20 pairs of designer shoes you owned. But you will think about that time you got lost in your favorite city. The nights spent falling in love under the stars, the mornings you woke up and watched the sunrise, and all the beautiful people you met along the way. You’ll think of the moments that made you truly feel alive. And at the very end, those memories will be the only possessions that you own.”
Who ever wrote that knew what they were talking about. Happy Friday, y’all!
Cabo’s little secret is that most resorts don’t have swimmable beaches. @montageloscabos isn’t most resorts. #fbf to a whirlwind visit last week with @loscabostourism 🐪 #findthecamel in pics 2,3,4,5 and 7!
The minimalistic beauty and royal blue typography you get when you buy generic flour at the French supermarket gets me giddy. What baked treats (savory and sweet, of course!) does your Thanksgiving week hold?
Just finished reading this lovely book "A Monk's Guide to a Clean House and Mind" - Nature is where we can observe and learn about the delicate balance that allows us to exist. What a person sees in nature is a reflection of what is in their heart...
