I didn’t make it to the top today. But I know that there is always snow on skiers right of maybe the best run in VT. And even though I only made it 3/4 of the way up, I was grateful. That seems like a BFD on this day. We are a lucky bunch, America. We all have our struggles, and some of that sh*t is huge. But we are free to climb mountains, thanks to the men and women who were willing to sacrifice their life for this privilege. So, keep climbing, and be thankful || #veteransday#gratitude#mountaintop#sugarbush#mtellen#vt#vtlife
Isn’t this good news? Pure maple syrup just can’t be beat, and when it’s made from a local sugarbush, it becomes even more special. Much labour and love go into producing this natural gem and to know it contains valuable minerals and fuels our liver is an extra bonus! Drizzle here, drizzle there- I use it in salad dressings, marinades, on anything with carbs almost, especially my granola or quinoa bowls.
Of course we aren’t going to get TOO carried away with maple syrup, but you could make those yummy looking pumpkin pie spice pancakes Anthony William just posted! Use it to sweeten your favourite latte, or drizzle over some roasted brussel sprouts or cooked squash.
What’s your favourite thing to put maple syrup on or in?
