Our November 4th event will be the first time that the Long Island Comic Book Expo features cosplay and programming. This was all put together by @rizuki, our cosplay coordinator! She has been cosplaying since 2010 (technically), and has hosted panels, workshops, and photoshoots at various events including New York Comic Con, Anime NYC, Immortal Con, Otakon, Katsucon, AnimeNEXT, Emcon Anime Festival, Inbeon Con, and International Sailor Moon Day. Her goal with the cosplay portion of LICBE is to provide a personalized experience for cosplayers locally to be able to learn, network, interact, be creative, and have fun at an already amazing event ... and it helps that they can get their favorite geeky purchases at the same place!
Be sure to swing by the Huntington Hilton on November 4th — grab your comics, search for your collectibles, scope out the great art, and check out the talented cosplayers who are looking to have an amazing time at the Long Island Comic Book Expo! BUT WHAT THERE’S MORE...
Balsamic Farro Chicken - perfectly grilled sliced chicken over our signature farro salad, which is a blend of farro, portobello mushroom, broccoli, and peppers tossed in our homemade balsamic dressing... IT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
This little dude has had a lingering cold that he has now passed to me and today we were both crank-city. That’s one of the hardest aspects of being a mom I think: the inability to call in sick 🤒Having to just get up and keep it movin’ even though you feel like 💩💩. What are your tips for mommin a sick bub while you’re sick yourself?
