WEDNESDAY WISDOM // Today I’m going to tell you my story and how investing in myself and “doing me” has led me to where I am today!
My first catalyst moment happened after a break up of a 14 years relationship since I was 16! I was so lost and didn’t know who I was and had completely lost confidence. I chose to work on myself, learn new things and meet new people. I started Ballroom dancing and Acroyoga. Both physical challenges that I did not think that I would end up thriving in in my 30s. It was also the push I needed to finally launch my wedding planning business @Eventsbykeenda which I did as part of the mission for March challenge 2015 by @femaleentrepreneurassociation
I shocked myself by how much I was capable of alone and only discovered this because I had the freedom to try and had no restrictions or limitations unless I’m standing in my own way, which is sometimes still the case. Still working on this!
My second catalyst was the manifestation of my anxiety and depression in jobs that I hated and was making me ill. I did not want to succumb to being on medication forever so I made the conscious effort to join the 5am club to become more focused and productive.
The morning routine has been a saviour for my mental health and sets me up to succeed everyday! Exercise, meditation and journaling has been so helpful 🙏🏼 This image above is symbolic of how you can do anything you put your mind to.
MINDSET IS THE MOST POWERFUL THING THAT CHANGED MY LIFE!
I am now open to growth and belief that I am worthy of success and I will continue to reach these goals daily! I am an ambitious and passionate female entrepreneur and I’m ready to make my 3 businesses successful. But everyday I’m learning and enjoying my journey 😍
What’s your story? Share it with me below 🙏🏼💕😍 #livelovegrowchallenge @kirstycarden
The strong woman.
The strong woman doesn’t want a successful man.
She wants a partner to build their own empire, grow through mud together.
The strong woman doesn‘t need you. She wants you. And if she does you better be prepared.
The strong woman is the storm, the thunder in the worst of your nights, the energy, destructive and constructive, you choose.
She might be your nightmare, but successful people face their fears.
The strong woman is the ‚other one‘. She‘s the one standing besides them.
She might be a ghost, liquid and flowing, and you won‘t be able to grab, hold or even see her truly. But she‘s there, moving flexible around you.
The strong woman has a past full of tears, lies, sadness and was broken so often, she decided to go on her own.
So don‘t be upset when you find a tiger instead of a baby cat.
The strong woman is hard to take, she‘s the one.
But if you do, she‘s worth it.
May her energy fire your heart and your soul and lead you through your darkest nights. 🔥 .
