Having had an item from balanceme in my birchbox before I had high hopes for this item and it has already become a favourite of mine... If its not this product. I was really excited to try a micellar water as I've heard lots of good reviews, however this left my face so sticky it was still sticky the next morning😕. Not only did it leave my face sticky but it kept going in my eyes when I was taking of my eye makeup, even when I used a lot less product.
Cheaper version--Garnier skin active soothing botanical cleansing milk and Garnier skinactive soothing botanical toner. Whilst these aren't a micellar water the cleanser removes makeup without hassle and the toner does exactly what it says- tones skin. RRP-£2 at Superdrug. Prices vary in other shops.

Just as there is no weight loss pill that really works if you continue to eat and drink the same as before, there is also no pill/tool/therapist who can 'work FOR you' if you continue to treat your mind the same way as before.
It is essential that you invest time and effort into mental health if you want to progress and make positive changes in 2019.

Have a game of fear factor today, either with yourself or get some friends/colleagues involved too (it's more powerful if you do). Imagine that 10= super scary and 1=a little uncomfortable.
Now select something that you aim to do today that feels around a fear factor 5.
Maybe you make the phone call to ask someone out for dinner, or you speak to your manager about a payrise.
Perhaps you tell someone you love them or that their behaviour is no longer acceptable.
Maybe you go to the gym for the first time or you contribute to a meeting or you ask for help.
Whatever it is, step into the fear today, it's only a feeling and you can do things even when fear is present.

I don't know about you, but I can wind myself up before I've even got out of bed in the morning sometimes!
Like when you've had a bad dream and just can't shake it, or you've been running over the argument you had with someone yesterday in your head and now you are all annoyed again... Well, we chose to continue thinking about those things, and we can choose to stop too!
Starting your day well, and ending it well are not necessarily about having some amazing routine in place where you need to leap up and get to the gym at 4am (although if you do and it works for you, keep doing it!). It's more about being aware of what you are thinking about. It's choosing to redirect thoughts that are changing your mood into one that is unhelpful to your goals and values, to thoughts that improve your mood and your outlook on the day ahead.
Make a point of checking in with yourself in the morning and evening and deliberate choose to begin thinking of things that make you feel great, or the people that make you smile.
Before you go to bed think of three things that you are grateful for, not necessarily things that went well (sometimes days don't work out like that), but things that you are still grateful for no matter what the day brought you.
I am grateful for my son sleeping soundly in his room, the roof over my head as this rain pours down outside, the ability to start afresh tomorrow...❤️
