There are only a few people that will every understand the attachment people can have to cars, and those are other car enthusiasts. It's not something simple to understand until you are the person with the passion. How do you love something that's an inanimate object? You don't see it as an just an object. They are a part of your life, or they are your life. It's what you look forward to during the weekends, spending time with your best friends that you wouldn't have without cars and making memories. It's even sometimes your career.
This isn't something that you realize until it's time to let go of your true love, your dream car, in order to move forward with life. Its these sacrafices you have to make, at that point you realize where cars have brought you.
