Hz Moosa AS was once lost .. he fled Egypt because he mistakenly killed a man.. he ended up in the desert village called Madyan.. he prayed this dua.. he had nothing but the clothes on his back.. Allah swt sent him unknowingly to the house of Shuayb AS... Hz Moosa AS married Shuayb AS'S daughter and stayed there for ten years.. Hz Moosa AS read THIS dua when he was so despondent.. he did not even have a crumb of bread to eat and Allah swt sent him salvation. Why do we doubt in Tawakkul of Allah swt ? #fajrafterthoughts#shukr#alhamdulillah#studythings
With exam prep, 2 exams down, articles at a law firm, and overall laziness - I really do have the tendency to eat everything in sight that has flour, sugar, chocolate and cheese - and deep fried yumminess. I haven't even mentioned the countless cups of coffee that I drink just to continue, which is very unhealthy *sigh*
If you have asthma and/or chronic migraine, these are the worst triggers to your system. I end up feeling snotty, have a persistent headache and I just want to sleep.
Today I decided to change things up a bit
I began my morning with hot water, then a protein shake that I made into a mousse with blueberries and added muesli for crunch.. no pic of this yummy evidence though.. followed by my coffee.
Lunch was a yummy sarmie made of tuna salad and lettuce, no mayo.. and yes a cup of coffee. Only my second for the day. By lunch time I'm usually on my 5th.
This is early dinner.
Tetley green tea. Apple flavor.
I grilled chicken fillet in the oven. Home made portuguese marinade. I added fajita seasoning to change up the flavor.. and I mixed some spur durkey sauce into the marinate to baste while grilling
While baked chicken fillet normally comes out dry, this was first baked for 15 mins on highest heat, I drained the water (I don't want steamed chicken), then put the grill on and basted. I flipped the chicken once and basted both sides.
It was juicy and perfectly cooked. I didn't miss the carbs. Nor extra mayo.
