Yup. I’ve used all the excuses and more. I’m human and I have limiting beliefs too. When I started my workouts almost 3 years, you didn’t see me before that talking myself out of them.
You see me now and the results that are coming.
You see my face early every morning and having it together but you don’t see my battle with the alarm to get there. Or the intention of going to bed early and but it doesn’t always happen. The sleepiness till my magicness kicks in.
I’m just like you. I want things in life but I always try to talk myself of them and then last night I was thinking...Why NOT me?🤷🏻♀️ Stretching and core is done and it’s time to enjoy this day with my kiddos. Hurry back home Matt Friesen! We miss you already!🤗
My hope is that they will remember Mommy tried. Even when she was tired. Even when she was stressed. I hope they will know that I did it all for them. That I had every intention of being great, good and grand.. but some days all I could be was okay. ❤️ These 2 fill me with more love and joy than I ever thought possible.🤗

Working out isn't always easy. 🙄
But the Thing is:
I enjoy being healthy
I enjoy being fit
I don't always enjoy working out.
I once read this statement: “with all the weight loss options now, there is no reason to diet or exercise”
But the thing is: I've tried those "diet" options or I just starved myself to be skinny.
Looking back I can not believe I did that. I was determined and ignorant. I wanted to be skinnier. The worst part? Developing an eating disorder that was so tough to overcome.
I know that is how so many of you feel. You want to be healthier but have no idea how. Add in all of the “weight loss options” that are out there and it is easy to think that a healthy diet and exercise are not necessary.
But diet "fads" don't stick.
I know for me, I needed simple and straightforward and I needed to really learn what proper nutrition was.
And that is what I got! Almost 3years later, I am still following the guidelines and getting results and representing the company that helped change everything for me.

Was I scared I would "fail" when I first started... of course. All I knew was I didn't wanna stay where I was and keep feeling how I was feeling. What's that quote?? "Nothing changes if nothing changes." ... am I right? My fear of staying where I was became greater than the fear of failing.. and that's the moment things changed.

I have some crazy physical goals for myself and I know I can't get there by skipping my workouts and falling short in the kitchen.
So I'm up early getting my workout in and my meals are prepped for my busy day ahead.
Love having a support system to look for advice and to hold each other accountable. Some have already finished their workouts.

Did you ever look at this opportunity and say no because of the WHAT IF's?? Ummm I sure did!! When the opportunity of being a health and fitness coach was brought to me, I immediately said: "ha! good one!" Thankfully, someone else saw the potential and asked me not once, not twice but three times.
Every single day I show up. I made a habit of working out and I worked really hard to change my eating habits
I could SEE how happy she was and I could SEE how much her life had changed.
I said to myself--if she, a busy mom of 2 can do this, so can I!
Did I have reservations before saying yes? Absolutely. I was terrified to be honest!
Don't get me wrong--I work hard, I show up everyday and I fight for one more inch closer to my goals--but if I can do this and work closer to my dreams and goals...why not you?
If you ask me, the investment might have been towards my physical journey but it's way more than that.
The possibilities are amazing and being part of the top teams like I am? Is absolutely incredible. 😊🌸 #letsdothistogether

🧡🥑Chipotle Chicken Lettuce Wraps + Cilantro Lime Sauce🥑🧡 I have leftover chicken and this one sounds like like a perfect recipe for a Friday supper!👇👇 This Cilantro Lime Sauce Sounds so yummy! Tangy, creamy & a tad bit sour. PERFECT on the chipotle chicken! 🧡Ingredients:🧡 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
fresh leaves of romaine, or butter lettuce
1 large avocado, diced
1/2 red onion, finely diced
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
2 Tbsps avocado oil, OR olive oil
1 Tbsp chipotle seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Cilantro Lime Sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt
a large handful of fresh cilantro leaves
2 Tbsps fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1 fresh garlic clove, minced
pinch of sea salt

Happy Fri-Yay!!😀🙌 I used to look at my workouts as a punishment because I ate bad or it was something I had to do instead of wanting to do.
It was then that I realized how hard it was to show up each day and to stay motivated to want to do it.
It wasn't until I realized that my workouts were the exact opposite--not a punishment but a reward.
I feel so much better afterwards, I have good juices flowing and I never regret showing up.
I found a love for fitness, a passion for showing up and fighting to be the best version of myself and I have loved my journey. Not great every day, but I show up.
Instead of trying to find ways to get yourself up and going each day--why don't you just ask yourself what you REALLY want out of this.

So thankful we asked ourselves how we could change.
And so Everyday we work on ourselves. To make better choices day by day. And today I will challenge myself again.

Such a long yet extremely good day today.😍 Kathryn now has a new brace for her ankle that will hold it in place more. Her ankle has been giving her a lot of trouble, so this is the first of many steps they’re trying to see if it helps her.🤔 Today’s adventures included Halloween costumes and all the fun was had until someone’s wrist started shooting pains into her hand.😔 So 2 hours later.....you can find us here👇waiting to see what X-rays has to say and hoping we can go home soon.🙏 Night everyone. It’s my favourite day here. Snuggles with Jaxx who doesn’t sleep in and just enjoying a hot cup of coffee.☺️ I read this and it got me thinking:

It’s not going to be perfect and it may even suck at first. But that’s ok! Trying and failing is better than not trying at all.🙌 It’s a new day with new beginnings.
